The Dragon Sage looked at Yang and said, "I think it's finally time I told you how to defeat Wrath." Yang's eyes widened but then he frowned. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" He shouted, "If you did then she wouldn't be dead." Tears started coming from his eyes and he just kept shouting that she wouldn't be dead.

Yang ran off. He did not mean what he said but he could not stand to hear Wrath's name. He knew that was foolish of him because he heard Wrath's voice in his head everyday. Everyday he heard the words "You killed her." He felt like he should go back to apologize to his master but he also knew that he was still an emotional wreck. He decided that he would go to the apple tree he always went to just until he calmed down.

The Dragon Sage walked to the apple tree to visit Yang that night. He saw Yang crying. The Dragon Sage knew that it must be tough on the young boy. He knew that being used as a puppet to kill his loved ones must be the emotionally torturing Yang. Yang was not the first person the old man had met who was possessed by Wrath.

The sage walked over to Yang and sat down by him. "Are you ready to hear about how to defeat him?" Asked the Dragon Sage. Yang nodded and scooted closer to show that he was listening. Yang wanted to kill Wrath. He wanted to utterly destroy the demon so Wrath would stop hurting him.

"There is a sword," explained the Dragon Sage, "that can destroy all evil. I made it out of my own aura the first time I ever fought Wrath." Yang wiped the tears from his eyes and questioned, "Then why didn't it kill Wrath?" The Dragon Sage shook his head and said, "Only an aura user with a pure heart can use it to its fullest extent. I believe that person is you, Yang."

The Dragon Sage explained that the sword was placed on the peak of the mountain that exceeded over two thousand feet. He marked the location of the island that it was at on a map and gave that map to Yang. He wanted to be prepared for his journey so he trained for the first time since Wind's death. Yang went to bed as soon as he finished training because he wanted to wake up early for his journey.

Yang was eating breakfast when he a saw a slice of cake. Wind was an amazing baker and he remembered that was the last thing she ever baked. He decided to eat it but he never would have thought that something that tasted so good would make him so sad. He walked to the boat that the Dragon Sage had prepared for him and put his pet dragon, Mirgrim in it.

Yang looked back to see the Dragon Sage. He waved and said, "I'll miss you, master! But don't worry, I'll be back with Wrath's head before you know it!" He pushed the boat off for his journey to begin. "I'll miss you too," said the Dragon Sage under his breath.

It was time for Yang to grow up. Time for him to live life the way he wanted instead of living in fear of Wrath. He decided that once he killed Wrath that he would never become like the demon. He knew that his journey would not be an easy one but he knew that it would be something he had to do.

Yang and Mirgrim had been out on sea for a few days without stopping. Yang went to prepare some food but that was when he had come to a terrible realization; they were out of food.

Mirgrim began whining from hunger so Yang petted it to comfort it. He looked off the starboard and saw land. He massed the sails so he could get a smooth sailing towards the island he had spotted. He noticed a small village on the island as he got closer.

He got off the boat and ventured towards the village. He saw some people running away so he ran in the opposite direction they were to observe what they were running from. To his surprise, it was a demon.

Yang got into a fighting stance with one leg back. The demon looked at him and asked if Yang was an aura user. Yang answered the demon by simply charging his purple aura. It flew towards Yang but he rolled out of the way.

"This move," said Yang, "is a memory of the one I lost." All of his aura flowed to his hand as he clenched his fist. The aura began gathering a small orb of air around his hand which then pressurized. "Wind Fist!" Shouted Yang. He thrusted out his fist and released the wind as a small beam of air. The air stabbed through the demon's stomach before disappearing.

Aura was leaking out of the demon's wound instead of blood, even then the demon seemed unaffected. Yang stomped one foot down and told the demon to get lost. That demon realized something significant when it came in contact with Yang's aura. What it realized was that Yang was the vessel for Wrath. "I'm sorry, lord Wrath," pleaded the demon as it disappeared.

The villagers walked over to Yang to see what happened and they were surprised by the outcome. "Who are you?" Asked one of the villagers. "Just a traveller looking for supplies," replied Yang. Another villager smiled and said, "then we must have a feast in your honor. You saved us!" Yang reluctantly agreed. He did not like the attention but he needed the food.

Yang was sitting at the end of a long table in the middle of the village. Even though he did not enjoy the attention he had to admit that the food was amazing. A young girl, only a little younger than him, walked up to him. She was pretty but she reminded Yang of Wind.

"H-hello," she shyly greeted, "thank you for stopping that demon, Yang." Yang looked at her, "It was no problem, what's your name?" She told him that it was Lucy and he shook her hand. He put a piece of delectable looking meat on a plate and handed it to her. She gladly accepted it with a smile. She did not accept it because she was hungry but because it was from him.

She was intrigued by him. He was smaller than the average person but was still able to defeat the demon that was terrorizing the village. It was also her first time witnessing aura.

She smiled every time he talked for reasons she did not understand. She was beginning to think she actually had feelings for him. She decided she didn't but she continued to talk to him for the rest of the night. Most of the villagers were asleep in bed after the feast was over. Except for Lucy.

She walked through the woods until she spotted Yang. He was sitting against an apple tree, cradling Mirgrim, and observing an apple. He tossed the apple and watched a small, woodland creature eat it. He thought this island had some strange creatures on it. She slowly approached him and tapped his shoulder.

He looked at her to see who was trying to get his attention. "Oh, it's you, Lucy," he said in response to her attention getter. "I have a question," she began, "is it lonely at sea?" He looked into the air for a moment to think then looked back at her, "Yeah, but I have Mirgrim to keep me company." She mustered up the courage to make one more request, "Take me with you if it's lonely!" Yang paused for a moment in surprise then shook his head, "No, I can't take you with me."

Yang stood up and walked off with his pet dragon. Lucy felt heartbroken. She did not know how to handle this kind of rejection, the rejection of one's feelings. She fell to her knees and cried herself asleep against the tree.

She woke up early that morning. She was going to miss Yang. She hoped that he would still be getting supplies so she could sneak onto his boat and be with him. She ran to the shore line as fast as she could but the boat was already gone by the time she arrived.

She almost started crying again until an elderly villager came up to her. It was her grandfather, the chief of the village. "He told me everything," he said, "he said that he didn't take you with him was because he didn't plan on coming back alive and he didn't want to hurt you that way." This was not a relief to her but only made her cry more.
