Chapter 38: Fighting powers

***Graxz's POV***

I reached to the rooftop with my energy fully depleted. I pushed the door which connected to the rooftop using my weight as I leaned towards it.

There was a crazy war. Explosions were everwhere. Mr Padmore was battling a guy with a big axe, Kaos was fighting a girl who had an umbrella.

I stood up quickly and got thrown by Chloe's body who got thrown by a muscular man. She felt very soft landing while I got hit on the concrete in agony.

I almost got fainted. I helped Chloe to get up. All of a sudden, a strong wind blew through us. Everyone braced themselves.

Unfortunately everyone got blown away. Somehow we all land on the same plain field next to the building. And again, Chloe landed on my body as we land.

Finally we were together. On the left, I saw another girl fighting one of the criminal that robbed the bank that day. She was badly injured, blood stained on her face.

Some debris were around her. Quickly me and Chloe went to her to give asistant. Chloe asserted that the girl was one of the Clan Turida, 2nd weakest clan.

"Isn't that kinda insulting?" the girl blurted.

"Oh yeah, sorry," Chloe apologised.

"You need help?" I asked.

"Of course she does! Show some respect!" Chloe yelled at me.

"Ouch!" I said as she knocked on my head.

"Guess you both really fit together," the girl giggled.

"No we don't!" we both answered at the same time.

"Are you going to ignore me or what?" the robber teased.

"What?" I replied with a poker face.

"He is one of those wanted criminal. Tom Wonder is his full name with a reward of $5000 for his sowl." the girl said.

"$5000?!" I shouted.

"Shut up and lets fight!" Tom said.

"Don't worry," I said heroicly as I came closer, "I'll make this quick."

"What?" Tom said in confusion, "you're going to make me fainted in a few seconds?" he laughed very hard.

As swiftly as possible, I ran up to him very quickly. I clenched my fist. He caught off guard.

"Lol, noob," I teased.

"What did you do?!" the girl asked in surprised.

"I just caught him off guard, that's all."

"Interesting," she said.

All of a sudden, a huge shadow blocked the sun. There was a huge flying ship. A pirate ship to be precise. It lowered itself right above the ground.

The wind that was cause was too strong that I had to protect myself. Mr Padmore and the others woke up. Without noticing, the bad gang already went on the ship.

Chloe and the girl took out their special button. There was a message, an unpleasent one. It was from the Sowl top headquarters, mentioned Chloe.

It was warning anyone who was in the battlefield to retreat. It was also said that it was threat level Rock. Which probably meant hard.

Everyone gathered together, watching the ship. At first, we thought it was about to take off but then it's front changed into a huge cannon.

We were about to dodge it, byt it was too late. A large beam of light was shot. It then ended with an explosion.

I opened my eyes. Everybody was lying on the ground, looking exhausted. Suddenly, I saw Rolex was in the ground. She must had been pushed me away from the light ray.

I clenced my fist real hard. I kneed down as I tried to breath in. I pushed myself to stand up. The ship was still there.

I gave it an intense stare. I quickly sprint toward the ship. I ignored the laughing of people on the ship.

I somehow managed to jump high enough to touch the ship. As hard as I could and with all my might, I punched the ship.

The ship then somehow teleported to somewhere else, very far without me following the ship. I fell toward the ground.

Then something caught me. It was Cinos. He yelled and called for help. My body completely felt tired. Vale joined Cinos as he called someone.

My eyes felt so tired that they began to close. My vision became clearless. I passed out.

***Tom's POV***

We were somehow teleported under sea level. Good thing that I was on a ship. I looked at the temporary leader, Charles. He looked dissapointed.

He was clicking the button that would triggered the bombs that were planted by my teammates, Brute, Velo, Jack, Daniel and Jane.

They've already return after tgey done their mission. Charles looked and stared at me. He showed me the button. There was a screen saying out of range.

With rage, he threw the button into the blue ocean and never to be seen again. Clarence, located and told us that we were currently on Pacific Ocean.

"That wasn't far," I said.

"Not far?!" Charles yelled, "I have a meeting with the boss in for like one more hour and I need to get there fast."

We then set sail. Unfortunately, the rocket was busted. So we used an alternative way, the wind. It was long and arduous journey though.
