I was walking down in 29th new park when I saw you in another's arms. The both of you were walking together hand in hand, you look happier. You were looking at her like how you used to look at me when she said something to make you laugh. Your green eyes sparkled with joy.. I saw you both smile as twice as wide as ours, you look happier.. you do.

"Ain't nobody hurt you like how I've hurt you.. but ain't nobody love you like I do. I promised I would not take it personal if you're moving on with someone new. Because Lauren you look happier, you do." I whispered while watching you two.

I looked down and a tear escaped my eyes.. and another.. and another. "My friends told me one day I'll feel it too and until then I'll smile to hide the truth.." I looked up and saw you kiss her cheek. I smiled despite of how much pain I am going through.

I tried to be happy these past few months but I know.. I know that I was happier with you...

Whenever I sat at a corner of our old apartment.. everything's reminding me of you. But I'm telling myself you're happier, aren't you?

" I know that I've hurt you.. but no one needs you this much like I do. I know that Lucy deserves you more but Lauren I am still in love with you but I guess you are happier with her." I pathetically whispered while tears continue to roll down my cheeks. I remained watching you two.. kissing, laughing, smiling, looking so free.. looking so alive.. looking so happier.

"Lauren you look happier, you do. I knew one day you'd fall for someone new. But if she breaks your heart like lovers do.. just know that I'll be waiting... Here... For... You." I looked away and tried to blink back the tears that continued to roll down my cheeks. I looked back again and saw you guys kiss.. smiling while doing so. I smiled despite the heavy feeling inside my chest.

"I was happier with you.. I know." after uttering those words, I turned around and walk away. Away from you.. because now.. you're happier...  Without me..
