Extreme fluff.

------------

The first time I saw her, it was my first day in a new school. She was seated in one of the many tables in the library. Her black hair framing her face perfectly while her eyes are looking down on the book she was reading. Upon further inspection, you could see that she is gorgeous and that's enough to take my breath away.

I sat at one of the tables facing her. I stared at her for hours, or maybe just a few minutes? But it felt long and still, I can't take my eyes off her. She looked up from the book she was reading and caught my gaze. I immediately looked down. Embarrassed. 'busted' I mumbled. I can't believe I was caught ogling. 'real smooth, Cabello. Real smooth' . I tried looking up again and saw that she was still staring at me. When my eyes met hers she mumbled a timid "hi" then smiled at me warmly. My insides turned to mush. "Oh god, that smile" . I tried smiling back but I think it came out awkward and forced.  I looked down at the book I'm suppose to be reading. "Geez, can you be any more awkward? Just go up and say hi you idiot. At least make friends." I coaxed myself and with a burst of confidence, I looked up again with an intent of starting a conversation just to see her talking to someone. I think it's her friend. This just gave me a leeway to stare at her. She got up from where she was sitting and followed her friend out of the library. But before she could fully exit out of the door, she looked back at me and smiled. When she finally left, I released a sigh of relief but it was short lived because I immediately felt anxious. "Stupid, you could've walked up to her and said hi but no you just had to be awkward and all. Now she probably thinks you're weird. Ugh" I closed the book that I was supposed to read and got up from where I was sitting. I need a banana and a friend.

The second time I saw her was when I was with my best friend, Dinah. We were hanging out in the park enjoying the sun. Well, I was enjoying the sun while my friend was slumped over me complaining how hot it is.

"I told you, you could go home. No need to sacrifice your date with Netflix just to hang out under the sun with me." I told her without looking up from the book I was reading.

"We haven't hang out since last Friday. Come on treat me some ice cream. I need some ice cream" she groaned. She started poking my cheek while chanting 'ice cream' just to annoy me.

I groaned and tried swatting her hand away. "Dinah, it was Friday the other day. And would you please stop doing that? You're annoying."

"One day of not seeing you is one miserable day for me. I need my chancho lovin'. Now come on, I know you want some ice cream." She cupped my cheeks with both hands and made kissy faces.

I pushed her face away with the palm of my hand and got up from where I was sitting, clutching my book on my left hand. "Gosh, you're so annoying. Come on before I change my mind."

She immediately got up on her feet, tugged on my wrist and dragged me to the nearest ice cream shop.

Once we're inside the store, I immediately welcomed the cool air from the air-condition while Dinah made a beeline to the cashier. I quickly followed her and looked up to the choices on the board.

"I'll have some choco monster sundae. Chancho?"

"Oh, uh.. strawberry banana with sprinkles please." I answered and when I looked at the person standing behind the counter, I immediately sucked in a deep breath and felt my eyes widen. "Shit"

"Hi, I'm Lauren. I'll make your order, it won't take that long don't worry." She turned around and started doing our orders. "Fuck, even her voice sounds so beautiful"
