The Dragons Of Draconus (rewrite)

Chapter thirteen

Three weeks later
dream

Christina looked around, confused. Stardust and the other riders with their dragons were with her. They were standing in some beautiful meadow, but everything was so strange.

"Hello children" all twelve of them jumped at a gentle soothing female voice, earning their attention on a beautiful dragon. She smiled at them and the dragons shared confused and concerned looks feeling a sense of submission.

"Who are you?" Stardust asked.

"My name is firestar, which is all you must know for now" the dragon replied before they found themselves in the air looking down on a beautiful world like earth. "I am here to teach you many things"

"Wow, it's so pretty" mark said earning a chuckle from firestar.

"This is Draconus, home world of the dragons" firestar said and the humans gasped. "A world only a dragon may go to, to go to Draconus you must be accompanied by a dragon"

"Why are you telling us this?" Jade asked.

"Because without you, earth and Draconus will both be destroyed and die" firestar said, oddly calm. The riders were beyond shocked and each let out their own surprised sound and words. "You are going to save both worlds"

"Why us?" Christina asked seriously, stepping forward and taking a straight leader like pose. "Why not someone older or stronger? We are six children and six dragons, we are nothing special"

"That is where you are wrong, Christina. You see, for a dragon to become bonded to a human, they must have something the dragon wants and something the dragon needs. You each weren't bonded randomly, I chose you because you are very powerful when together. Apart weak, together you have the power of both worlds" firestar said, then showing them both planets side by side, they were closely the same, but Draconus was different.

Draconus was mostly one huge continent, with tiny island like places off it surrounded by sea. To one end was the cold areas and the other was warmth. There was Many things and the riders stared in wonder.

"How can we save this? We're just kids" Jordan said doubtfully.

"Because you are dragon riders" firestar replied and looked at them. "You, storm, are an ice dragon. Spitfire, a fire dragon. Whirlpool, a water mix. Sky, a wind. And you, Lilly, a nature"

"What about stardust?" Christina asked seriously.

"He is very special, but I cannot tell you yet. Both worlds are in danger and it is the dragon riders duty to protect the innocent and weak, will you for fill your duty riders? Or will you let everything you love and see be destroyed?"

End dream

Christina gasped and shot up, looking at stardust and the others who'd been shaken awake. Christina looked at them and Mark moved closer to storm.

"So riders" Christina broke the silence, earning everyone's attention as she stood. "Will we step up and protect earth and Draconus or will we let it all become dead wastelands? I, for one, want to save the worlds. I'm going to Draconus, Friday night"

"Count us in'' Nathan said as he and whirlpool got up.

"Ditto" Leo and Jordan said as they stood beside their dragons.

"Aw what the heck!?" Jade laughed and got up. "We're in it to win it"

"Us too!" Mark cried happily. Christina smiled and stood taller.

"Dragon riders, Friday night we leave for Draconus, and we save both worlds! Do what you gotta do and we meet at the water tower"
