"Spitfire! Wait up!" A familiar voice called to Spitfire and Jordan as they flew towards the capital. The duo looked in shock and awe as Flameburst flew up beside them.
"Flameburst!? What're you doing here!?" Spitfire asked.
"Helping, what else?" Flameburst replied cockily.
"Haha. Well, double the fire power! Welcome to the team, Flame" Jordan laughed lightly. They flew over the army of stone dragons and Flameburst took in a sharp breath.
"I'm having second thoughts" flameburst stated as he and spitfire flew side by side.
"Don't chicken out on me now little brother" spitfire said.
"Yeah, don't be a hatchling" Jordan laughed before the three dove. Jordan let out a shout and the two fire brothers roared, blasting fire.
A loud roar answered their challenge and they flew higher as the massive shadow dragon and his rider flew after them. The army of stone dragons roared, but spitfire and flameburst spun, flying at the shadow dragon.
Flames coated the shadow dragon from the two brothers as they flew by, but Jordan looked back. Jordan paled seeing the shadow dragon shake off the fire and his rider safe on his back.
"Look out flameburst" spitfire cried as the shadow dragon shot after them and sprayed venom at them. Spitfire shoved flameburst and the venom hit his wing, making him roar in pain.
A roar answered him and stardust dove down, attacking the shadow dragon with Christina on his back. The shadow dragons rider ran and jumped, tackling Christina. The two began to fall, but whirlpool caught them and dropped them on the ground.
The stone army raced at them, but the rest of the team and their friends dove with roars and battle cries. Christina pulled out a scale of stardust's, the wood attached to it like a sword.
"You can't stop me! I'm Daniel, future king of Draconus and destroyer of earth" the boy cried angrily.
"Not if I can help it" Christina said and Daniel blocked her attack with a scale off his dragon. Stardust and the shadow dragon crashed to the ground, but Christina glanced as the other dragons fought the stone army. Spitfire was down, the venom on his wing burning it badly.
"NIGHTMARE" Daniel shouted as stardust threw his dragon into a wall.
"You can't win this, Daniel. The riders will never give up" Christina cried as she slashed her sword at him, but he dodged and threw her back. She held her arm, but growled.
"Good, more fun killing you" Daniel said before twice as many stone dragons ran out, all roaring and blasting fire. Christina gasped and stared in horror as nightmare grabbed Daniel and flew into the air.
They couldn't win this fight.
But they aren't going to give up.
