[soojin's pov:]
he just called me beautiful.
"thank you," i said smiling at him, "you look different."
he raised an eyebrow. "different? is that a good thing or bad thing?"
"no, no, it's a good thing," i giggled. i watched as he shyly rubbed he back of his neck.
"um, do you maybe want to go to the music room instead?" he asked me.
"the music room?"
he gave a nod of his head when i asked. well, it would be a quieter place compared to here.
"sure, why not?"
i followed behind him as we left the cafeteria unnoticed and quietly made our way to the music room. luckily, it was unlocked so we easily entered inside.
he went and entered first as i followed in afterwards, flipping the light switch on.
the piano and other cased instruments were still in their same places.
"it's loud in there, don't you think?" he asked as he slowly walked over to the piano and sat down on the chair.
"yeah," i softly said. i walked over and sat down next to him on the bench and stared at the white and black keys once more.
"soojin?" he suddenly asked. hearing his voice so close to me made me freeze in place for a good moment. i gulped quietly to myself as i turn my head to look at him.
"yeah?"
we were quiet as we stared into each other's eyes. the only sound i could hear was the sound of my heart beating out of my chest.
"i... there's something i've been wanting to tell you."
i licked my lips slightly as i looked back and forth from his eyes to his lips. oh, goodness.
"what is it?" i asked him.
"remember that night... when your mother invited me over to your house for dinner, and we talked in your room... about having someone you like?" he slowly began to say.
i gulped nervously as i felt my armpits sweating slightly.
"yeah... i remember."
"there is someone i like. i just don't know if she feels the same way. and i'm not really good at expressing my feelings, but if i could say anything, she makes me smile a lot," he said.
"oh... she does?" i asked still looking at him.
our bodies were slightly close and our shoulders touched as well. i've never ever felt so nervous in my life. feeling like my lips went dry, i quickly licked them lightly to get them moisturized again.
"y-yoongi," i softly began to say as i realized our faces were only inches away.
"soojin, i really have feelings for you."
my heart fluttered right then-and-there when those words slipped right out from his mouth. his defined features on his face were clear to me as i got a proper look at them. the way his eyes slanted were cute and his smile was beautiful.
"i can't breathe. you make me so nervous," i laughed nervously. he chuckled slightly as he looked at the ground and then back at me.
"i seriously really do like you, soojin."
my face blushed bright red as i continued to stare at him.
"i like you too yoongi." he, then, smiled at me.
"then, if i may do the honors," he said as he suddenly sat up straight and placed his fingers in a ready position on top of the piano keys.
flustered, i gave some space for him when all of a sudden he started to play a tune. as he played, he played so soothingly as if i could be in some kind of trance. i watched him as he played. talk about having a guy who can totally serenade you.
as the last notes played, he looked at me and a soft smile grew on his face once more.
"will you go out with me?"
