Jack's POV
I sat at the table and looked up. "Staff, hey, look." I said pointing at the boy walking past. It was Harvey.

His eye was black and swollen, and you could see he attempted hide it with sunglasses, but you could see it from the side.

His eyes were also red and puffy like he hadn't slept. What could of kept him awake? Video games?

I turned as I noticed Staff look at me. "Shall we go talk to him?" She suggested. I nodded, still in thought.

"Who's going. I don't think both of us should." She added. I looked at Harvey as he noticed us staring, and sped off out of the hall.

"Oh-uh I'll just go." I stuttered, then ran off after Harvey. I stopped to catch my breath, then saw him from behind the locker.

I walked over, as casual as possible. But I'm jack, I can't be casual or act serious.

I turned and took a breath, before walking over to him and pretending I hadn't seen him earlier.

"Oh Heyy um... Woah. Harvey, what happened, there's like purple right under there." I said in the most Irish accent ever, I sound a lot more Irish when I'm nervous.

"Its nothing." He shrugged. He flinched as I went to take off his glasses, so I backed away.

"No really what happened. I won't tell anyone." I admitted, I'd tell Staff, but only her, we were on a case.

I wanted to know what had happened, I mean, he'd come to school like that before, and I was just trying to figure him out.

I could tell he hated Andy too. The look he gave him, and Mr.Gibson. I wasn't sure what had happened, but they clearly had something to sort out, and they were somehow connected.

Staff's POV
I closed the door behind me, took my shoes off and placed my bag on the hanger. "MUM!?" I called.

I waited for a second, and got no answer, so I figured my mum wasn't back from work yet.

Looking at the floor, I tilted my head as I saw an envelope with my name on it. Pretty distinct handwriting, neat and posh....Andy?

I picked up the envelope and decided to read it upstairs. Sitting at the edge of my bed, I slowly ripped the edge of the envelope, wondering what words were written inside.

Opening the envelope, I slowly read the letter, trying to process everything I was reading.

Dear Saffron, Jack...

Your probably wondering why I've written you a letter. It's because I've been keeping secrets. There's things you don't know. And I promise I won't lie anymore. But... If you want to know, you may have to come to Dublin. That's where I am now. I had to leave quick. But here I am, and I hope to see you some time, could you pass this on to Jack, thanks Saff :))

My eyes were watering by the end of the letter. He'd left Windsor?...

I re read the letter multiple times. My mind was full of unanswered questions. Then I noticed something, at the end of the page.

It looked as if he was going to write something about...someone, but the name was sort of scribbled out.

Then I managed to read it. Harvey really did have a place in all this mess....

Now Saff has to figure out why Harvey was almost written about and what he has to do with Andy. Maybe she'll find out why Harvey hates Andy and Mr.Gibson (Brook).
