Saff's POV
I looked at the floor, jaw dropped. I wasn't sure how to reply. An abusive dad!? Well, step dad. I wondered where his real dad was.

Maybe his parents had just split up, or maybe it was something more. Who knows? But it was none of my business.

"So the letter?" Jack spoke up. I nudged him a little, and he apologised quietly. We couldnt just ignore the fact that his step dad abuses him and his mum.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't expect you to come out with something like that. I was thinking of something more, simple." I struggled for words and looked at Jack for help, hoping he wouldn't say something stupid.

"Yet." He nodded in agreement. "We didn't uh think that something like that was going on at home. But have you told anyone?"

I looked at Harvey, hopeful, but he was a bit defensive. "Yeah course I've told everyone." He said sarcastically.

Well, Jack was only asking. We just wanted to know everything. He could even talk to us.

"You can't keep that hidden. I mean, you don't deserve to watch your parents fighting and arguing, or even get abused yourself! Its not a healthy environment and you need to do something about it." I told him, calmly.

He sighed, then looked from Jack, to me, fiddling with his thumbs. He looked deep in thought, but no words would come out.

His lips moved as he was about to speak, but he looked lost for words, until he finally spoke.

"Well, who could I tell? I don't want to get taken away, and I don't want my step dad to go to jail. That's too far."

I wasn't sure what to say. He needed to tell someone, but I too, wasn't sure who.

It was clear he didn't want to cause more trouble, but he had to do something.

"I'll think about it." He sighed. "If it gets worse, I'll go ahead and tell someone." I gave him a small smile, and then sat back comfortably.

How was I supposed to bring in what we actually came to talk about? I felt quite mean, but we were here to solve something.

"So um. How did you expose Andy and Mr.Gibson?" Jack finally asked. I felt a weight lift off my shoulders as I didn't have to begin the conversation.

Harvey looked around, finding his words before replying to what Jack had asked. I was hopeful that he'd give answers, but not too much, because I wanted Andy to explain himself.

"So, I saw them both after school, and I took a couple of photos. Not long after, I saw they were deleted off my camera, which they probably did their selves. But I'd managed to save one on my phone. People saw it and they got exposed." He admitted.

I appreciated his honesty. I didn't really expect him to tell us much, but we'd learnt quite a bit.

"What does 'exposed' mean?" Jack asked. Harvey shrugged, throwing his bag over his shoulder. "You'll probably want to ask him yourself. Anyway, that's enough talking for one day."

He opened the door and walked out. That was a boot strange. But at least we had what we needed.

"Wait!" I called, remembering that he said he still had a photo on his phone.

He stuck his head round the corner and I asked him to show me deleting the photo.

I don't think me, or Jack were prepared to see this, but we needed to know he deleted it for good.

Pulling out his phone, we watched him scroll through all his photos and then click on what we were looking for.

I winced slightly, worried about what the photo was. Why did Mr.Gibson go to jail??

Openining my eyes, I gasped as I saw Harvey deleting a photo of Andy and Mr.Gibson....holding hands!? And then getting into the car!?

As the photo deleted, I stared as Harvey walked off like it was nothing. I turned to face Jack as he had the exact same look on his face.

"What!? I kind of knew he was gay...but his teacher!? What!?" I yelled in shock.

The bell rang signalling the end of lunch and I couldn't be bothered to go to fifth lesson, so I went home with Jack since my parents were both in work.

Isn't that long once again, sorry. But ive been really happy recently because idk probably sounds stupid bout ive got 1.45K reads on this!? To me that's a really big ... Achievement I guess? Because I've never really got that far, I mean I got over 600 before and now ive got over 1K which is crazy and I'm so amazed that people actually enjoy this book because I honestly thought it was sht. And I'm just glad this is helping improve my English too so updating is kind of like revision for English in a way? Cuz I'm writing if that makes sense.
