Knock knock I heard the knock on my door. “Come in” I said.
“Just thought to check on you if you were okay.” Suzy replied.
“Umm yeah, im okay. Thanks” I smiled. She walked toward my bed and sat next to me.
“What happened out there?” she turned to look at me with concern “where did you two disappear? I was worried. And when you came back you looked stressed, is everything alright?” she asked.
I gave a reassuring smile and said “I’m fine”.
She protested "I want the details, Marina" it was then when her phone blared out. She rolled her eyes "perfect timings" she exclaimed with pure irritation. I chuckled. She checked who it was and its was none other than her soon to be hubby, Joe.
I need to thank you, Joe, for saving my life i thought. Suzy got up from my bed and started towards the door. I sighed with relief...uhh unn...guess what Suzy turned around before leaving the exact moment i took the relieved sigh gesturing towards me that I'm not rid of her and will be giving her whole explanation thing tomorrow. i guess god had some issues with me that he's doing all this to me. I need to clear all things with him. I need to go to church soon. I switched off the lights and allowed the sleep to take me in its peaceful arms.
I woke up next morning with the annoyingly crazy thing banging its self in my ears. God i hate alarms so much they always ruin the best part of your dream. And I'm neither a fan of early mornings.
I shut the stupid thing off still not ready to leave my bed. I put my head back on my pillow, all my weight on my knees and crossed my both legs on each other and rest of my body hanging in the air. To sum it up a very awkward position like a five year old, but i cared less.
The ‘I care less’ sentence remained only until the door slumped open shocking me to death and it was when i will like to take my words back that i cared less , as all the care, i don’t know from where came rushing back all at once. I tripped and i never knew, till now, i was so damn close to the edge that i stumbled down and fell on my back. "Ouch " i cried with pain, trying to get up rubbing my back. It all happened in no time that i was unable to take notice of who the stupid idiot was who cannot knock or open the door gently. I heard the same person laughing so hard at me, i glared at him. "You know there is a thing called 'knock'. And if you don't know about it let me tell you, you should knock at someone's door before you get in and scare the person to death" i shouted folding my arms on my chest "and yeah specially girls" i pointed out.
The stupid boy laughed again " oh yeah i got it" he said. A smile started to appear on my face as i felt proud of myself for teaching a stupid boy a lesson. Which was in no time ripped away from my face with the next words that came thought his mouth. "Specially girls because they are so stupid that they could die with slamming of a door. How pity that you get scared so easily" he laughed again.
Anger fumed through me and i said with clear irritation "mister! You. Are.so.dumb.that.you.cannot.even.understand a simple sentence" i smiled, not the happy smile but the one that says you-dumb-ass-you-better-back-off one full of hidden sarcasm, "let me clear it up for you little baby, i meant that you should knock on the door specially if that’s a girl before you just walk in like it’s your own private property".
"I'm not a little baby" he mimicked my tone while saying the word 'little baby'. Which made me laugh immediately.
"You know you looked hilarious while you mimicked" i said still grinning.
"Not so funny" he exclaimed with a bored expression.
" But I found it really funny, trust me you have no future in the mimicking business but you can surely try for the monkey in a zoo" i stated.
