Marina’s POV

“Marina!” Suzy said from beside me, slightly shaking me in a sleepy voice “Please wake up”

“No” I replied in a husky voice. Eyes still closed.

“oh! C’mon. Mom is shouting to get up”

“then why are you still in the bed”

“you are younger than me so you should get up first”

“no, you are elder so you should be the one to wake up first”

“im still tired” Suzy said. We both are lying on Suzy’s bed. After reaching home yesterday late night we were too tired to change our clothes and I was too lazy to walk to the next door, so I crashed on Suzy’s bed. She didn’t mind as she was too tired to even complain. Aunt Lusy is shouting from down stairs for us to wake up. By the way what time is it. I opened my one eye lazily trying to adjust my sight to the bright light in the room. It was so bright because someone opened the windows so that we will wake up. But even that didn’t work.

I saw someone standing beside me, before I could open my eyes “aahhh!!!” we both sat up quickly on the bed. Angrily I looked up to see that it was Mason, he was standing with two empty glasses in his hands laughing like a maniac. Obviously its content was poured on us; cold water. “What the Mason!” I hissed getting out of the bed. That fool dropped the glasses on the floor and ran for his life. I think that dropping was a mistake but he is not getting out of my hands now. I climbed the bed and jumped down from Suzy’s side, as broken glass was shattered down on the other side. Suzy just sat there mouth hanging and eyes wide open.

“Mason!! Im not leaving you!!” I screamed as I skipped two steps at a time chasing after him. He was fast but so was I. He ran to the living room, throwing random pillows at me. I pushed them away, a few hit me too. He went out of the living room and made his was out towards the garden.

On the way I heard elders shouting behind us to stop, but there was no going back now.

I saw Jason who was exiting from the kitchen, he was staring at us in shock. I took a quick turn and snatched the banana he was eating and ran after Mason. I removed the skin and threw it as fast as possible before he gets out of the house.

“yes” I whispered to myself as Mason’s stepped in high speed on the banana skin and he slipped on the floor. “Ahha I got you now” I said sprinting towards him. But he quickly got up and opened the door limping out.

“It’s not that easy” he hollered.

I stood in the door way looking at him going away, he turned around with a smirk he said “Hold your wild cat bro” with that he ran away.

When his words registered in my head, I looked at my side. Jason was standing next to me hiding his smile. I narrowed my eyes at him.

“good morning” he quickly said with a smile.

“Bad morning” I murmured to myself walking away.

“actually its noon” he said from behind me. I turned to look at him with one eyebrow raised. He tapped on his watch with a smile.

“sh!t really” I grabbed his hand in astonishment observing the watch closely as my eyes didn’t believe what they were seeing. He nodded. It was 12.22 already. We slept till this late. Wow! I ran back up stares and to my room.

“No im not” I said to Suzy and Joe.
