I really do not know what the word 'friend' means anymore. Is it 'stalker'? 'Annoying as fuck neighbor'? Or simply 'Guy who can't take a hint'?
What I actually mean is, when I told this guy I would be his friend, I didn't mean to be attached to the hip to him.
For the past half hour he's been happily walking together with me everywhere I went. When I told Black paint I needed to run some errands and go home I didn't anticipate this blondie to just up and go with me. He simply waved to the guys and left like that.
I didn't expect him following me everywhere I went and then back home. Sure, he lives there as well, but I even took the longer route to get home just to shake him. He didn't budge. Finally I couldn't take it anymore.
-Hey, don't you have to practice before the concert?-I bite out walking just a tad faster and he easily matches my pace.
-Why?- he looks down at me curiously.
-To not make mistakes? To prepare? I don't know! Ben does it all the time. - I say and he is smirking down at me from his height.
-Well, he does need it. I don't.
-Confident asshole. You can't be that good. –I turn to look at him angrily.
He continues smirking at me and bends down to be closer to my face. It's annoying more than it is embarrassing.
-I am that good. You heard me, didn't you? How about you tell me.
My eyes turn away from his face.
-You're... not bad. Still everyone can use practice. - he extends one hand and ruffles my hair.
-I'll keep that in mind for next time. - he easily says and stands next to me again.- Anyway, what's for lunch?
-Are you inviting yourself over? A bit presumptuous don't you think? - I can't help but ask and he links his arm through mine and grins.
-Aren't you going to feed your starving friend who hasn't unpacked yet and doesn't have anything to cook food on? - He tries his best pleading look puffing out his cheeks and pouting his lips.
-You really like to use that whole friend thing to your advantage, don't you?
-Please, Hannah... pretty please?-the way he softly says my name and does his cute face kills me. I smile.
-I should honestly let you starve, Ben would be so happy about that.
-You're merciless. – Adrian pouts again and I step up and pinch his cheeks. I honestly like this Adrian better than the flirty one. Maybe being his friend was a good idea.
-Okay chubby cheeks, I'll let you eat as long as you promise to leave before Ben comes home.
-Hey, my cheeks are not chubby!- Adrian's voice breaks out in an unexpected squeal. I double over in laughter.
-They so are! You know what? I think I have a nickname for you! Joo was telling me how Asians like to give each other cute nicknames according to their features. He tried to make me give him one but I couldn't think of anything. But I got one for you. From now on, you're chee-chee! Mister chubby cheeks!- I pinch his cheeks again and laugh even harder when he swats my hands away, puts his hands on my legs and throws me over the shoulder.
-No fuckin way you ever calling me that. –he continues easily on towards our building. I continue laughing even in this position.
-Hey chee-chee, let me down please!- I try to act cute but I'm still laughing like crazy.
