I slowly gained to courage to hurry to Karma. I gulped as my hands shook, then I noticed my legs making me run to him.

"Karma!" I cried out as I finally reached him. He had passed out by the time I had gotten there. I sat down in the grass and let his head rest on my lap, tears overflowing in my eyes as I looked up at Asano in fear. He flipped his bangs away from his eyes with an evil smile. "I guess he learned his lesson, and so have you I perhaps." He stated as he rested the whip on his shoulder. Tears rolled down my face, all I could do was stare at him. "W-Wh-...y" I asked as my voice cracked from crying.
His eyes looked like poison, like death itself. It sent a chill down my spine. "He tried to sneak out, he says he wanted to get you out of here. Pretty cute to see your little friend wanna help, considering what you did to him." He chuckled.

He did it for me? W-Why?, I thought. I paused for a moment, I was scared, I couldn't move. Finally I took a deep breath. "Please.."

"Hm?" He looked down at me. "Let him leave. Why do you need him? You have plenty of slaves! In fact just let us go! You did enough to us! Let us go you little son of a b-".
Before I could finish, he hit me in the face. He then whipped the blood off the whip, I then held my hand to my cheek, hovering over the scar, scared to touch it. It hurt... I wanted to cry.

"All right... I know how to let you out, but wanna go back to bed now." He replied. I was a bit confused but did as he ordered, I then dragged Karma along back to bed to heal his wounds a bit.

6:30 AM

I then woke up to the noice of chains, I had overslept surprisingly, it was already 6:30. I finally got up seeing all the slaves work as usual. My heart sank as I noticed Karma, working his hardest with Okuda. I then reached them when Asano came to us. "Everybody line up!" He yelled. We immediately ran and lined up shoulder-to-shoulder. Asano smirked. "I have made a decision!". Everyone had a puzzled look. "I have decided to let everyone go!" He announced. Everyone looked at each other with bright smiles. I couldn't trust him. I looked over at Karma, he had a face that showed he didn't believe him either. Okuda's eyes widened, unsure how to feel if it was too good to be true.

Then he suddenly had an evil glare in his eyes. "But do you really think freedom is that easy?" He asked. "It's a bet. A game..." he continued. Everyone's smiled slowly fade away. He the grabbed a paintball gun, at least it looked like one. "This is a game, it's like paintball, hit, your out." Then he picked up a little container beside him. "These aren't paintballs, these are poison darts that will almost instantly kill your target, so if your hit, your dead!" I looked around, everyone had wide eyes of despair and fear. My heart raced. "There are also poison coated knives as well, so you will be wearing gloves. You will battle with a type of armor that will make your death a bit less painful, in a forest. At the end of the forest there is an escape gate you must reach! Survivors are freed! Got it?"

Everyone was frozen.

"Oh yeah, one more thing." He then took a body bag behind him and opened it, lifting the body. My heart skipped. "We have a new little friend who shall join our little game."
It was Kayano.

Asano lead us to the forest and took our chains off. We slipped our armor on and we all separated. My first goal was to find Okuda, Kayano and Karma.

Then I heard the buzzer, the game had started.

I quickly ran towards the trees. I wanted to get someplace high up.

I finally climbed a tree, I climbed until I was hidden by the leaves. I loaded my gun hesitantly, my hands shook. Then I suddenly jumped as I heard a scream. I felt my heart pound, wondering who those screams of agony belonged to.
