This is actually true.

It's not easy to get through a day without someone mentioning something I don't get and everyone else does. And then I ask and they say I don't need to know.

I'm treated like a little kid. Sure, I don't understand what you do understand, but I'm extremely smart in all honors classes.

It kinda hurts sometimes, too. My classmates in Chinese like to play Cards Against Humanity. And I'm the only one not allowed to play. :'C

Thing is, I've always wanted to play Cards Against Humanity. I don't care if I don't understand it. I just wanna play the game. But, nope. Li'l, innocent me can't play!

Innocence is blissful and beautiful. It's something that can be taken and not given. And it's a burden just as well because you still carry it.
