I'm being a Know-It-All...

I FIXED IT!!! WATTPAD ALLOWS YOU TO VIEW PREVIOUS REVISIONS!!!

(I'm sorry for the bad quality and poor lighting for the pic. Oddly enough, there's not a full picture of this on the Internet, so I guess I'm the first! For once! 😂 JK, probably not.)

Mkay, sooooooo...

I love taking trivia quizzes and solving riddles.

So I got bored and decided to take a few Black Butler knowledge quizzes on  Quotev.

Unfortunately, it's extremely rare that I see a quiz that you can choose all the right answers and actually get a 100%.

Meaning that the quizzes aren't actually set up with the right answers...

This irritates the heck outta me. Now, I'm not OCD, but I get REALLY picky with details. Like, if one small thing isn't described correctly, it can ruin the entire work for me. (And if you're saying "You pretty much called yourself OCD", being picky and being OCD are two different things.)

So, lemme lay some knowledge and correct some commonly incorrect facts. And some interesting facts as well. There'll probably be future chapters where I elaborate further on these facts.

Ciel Phantomhive (I guess you can say the Phantomhive Twins) was born on December 14, 1875.
(Yes, people actually get this incorrect)

Sebastian CANNOT be Vincent (As I have established before)

There are multiple spellings to names, such as Grelle and Baldroy. The three most common are American, British, and Japanese for the multiple spellings. (People refuse to acknowledge this... I actually argued with a quiz maker about this before... If you're gonna be specific, at least give a warning of what you're looking for.)

There are two different lefts. There are two different rights. If I'm facing you head on, you have a right and I have a right. You have a left and I have a left. Normally if you're talking about where something is, you're talking about your right and left. Same goes for if you're talking about a character.

There are two different locations for the branding mark on Fake Ciel. One for the anime and one for the manga.

Grell is transgender. (People actually get this wrong. He's biologically a male, wants to use a female pronoun. I call Grell a guy not to be mean, but so I don't mess up genders. If you knew me in real life, you'd know from experience that I get mixed up very easily... I fully acknowledge that he is a transgender and that he does wish to be referred to with female pronouns. I apologize if I offend anyone with this.)

Alois didn't turn Ciel demon, Hannah did. Alois only gave the order.

Hannah loves Claude. She DOES NOT hate him.

When creating the series, Sebastian was the very first character created. In the anime and manga, the running theory is that Sebastian made himself a similar appearance to Vincent's as to gain Fake Ciel's trust more easily. (I think Vincent's design was actually based off of Sebastian's, but I'm not sure...)

Ciel's dress during the Jack the Ripper case wasn't the first design. The first design actually had a much shorter skirt! Toboso refused to use the design in the end, saying she felt bad for him.

Had it not been for William, the scene between Beast and Sebastian wouldn't exist. (I'm planning to talk about this further in a future chapter.)

Sebastian can't lie due to an order Fake Ciel gave, not because of a demon's asethetics. (Also planning to elaborate on this further.)

Sebastian doesn't enjoy the taste of human food AT ALL.

Sebastian is able to sleep.

Sebastian can feel pain.

Sebastian couldn't cook until after he formed the contract with the Fake Ciel.

Fake Ciel knows French, Morse Code, and Latin. He only knows a little bit of German (As we know with what the manga has revealed).

Sebastian knows German, Latin, Morse Code, French, and some sorta Egyptian, not sure what kind or dialect. I know this 'cause he said he met the Pharaoh Smenkhare, meaning he had to know some sorta Egyptian language in order to speak with him. It's only logical, right?

Sebastian actually knows very little about Asian language and culture, as shown through the meeting with Damian and the Curry Festival.

Ciel fell after Sebastian finished counting to 10 at the end of Season 1.

Sebastian is most likely ambidextrous, as he's able to use his left hand as well as his right hand (Although I believe that he favors his left hand.) If not, then he would most likely be left handed (In my opinion. I just find that would be logical.)

Alois decided on his wish after he summoned Claude, not before or during.

Sebastian doesn't like to act like the 'savage beast' he is. But... he is still sadistic at times. (Jack the Ripper, the fight between Grell and Sebastian when Sebastian got a hold of Grell's chainsaw.)

It's unclear how old Claude is.

It's unknown if Claude and Sebastian are actually related, although I honestly don't blame anyone for thinking and theorizing so.

Book of Murder is an arc in the manga and an OVA in the anime.

Demons are capable of love, at least going off the anime.

Agni is- no...
Agni was Sebastian's first and only friend.
(I hate the fact that I have to write 'was'. AAAAGGGGGGGNNNIIIIIIIIIIII!!!)

There's a ton that I know, but this kinda covers everything that's common to get wrong. And most everything I've written, I've actually seen people get incorrect.

And please, for people who make trivia quizzes, remember that they're fact and not opinion. And if you're not sure about something, please double check.

Well, aren't I a little show off?

Actually, I'll be honest, I get mad when someone tries to correct me with incorrect information. 'Cause people try to do that. No, it's not pride that makes me irritated ('Cause I've got none of that). It's the fact that someone's trying to make a detail incorrect. And I CAN'T STAND EVEN THE SMALLEST DETAIL BEING INCORRECT!!!

Well, that's that and that's all I got. With that, I hope I was able to share something new with you guys in some sorta way!

And if you've ever got a question, ask away and I shall answer to the best of my ability!
