12: I'd love to

Mitch's POV

My heart is pounding out of my chest, Scott has a smile on his face, and is about to answer me. I'm scared. What if he says no?
What if he won't wanna be my friend?
What... what-
"I'd love to, Mitchy." He says.
My jaw drops.
What did he just say?!
Oh
My
Gosh!!
!!
"Oh my goodness!!" Kirstie says. "Congrats, you two!!"
My jaw is still open, I can't believe it.
Scott giggles.
"I've always had a crush on you, Mitch. I was just too afraid to tell you."
I blush.
"So... were... we're like a thing?" Scott asks.
"Yes." I smile.
I scoot closer to Scott. He puts his arm around me, and I lean onto his chest.
Kirstie awe's a few times, and decides to leave.
Once she leaves, Scott smiles at me.
"Thank you for telling me that." He says.
I smile. "You're welcome, scotty."
We sat on the couch, and cuddled for what felt like forever.
Every now and then, he glanced at me and smiled.
I smiled up at him.
Wow, I love him.
A lot.
"Scotty?"
"Hm?"
"Will you... will you ever do what Travis did to me?"
He sits up, and looks into my eyes.
"Mitchy, I swear, on my life that I will never, ever do what Travis did to you. You are safe with me, and you are never going to have to go back there. I won't hurt you. I love you." He says.
I smile.
"Thank you, Scotty." I say.
He smiles, as he gently pulls me back into his chest.
I glance at the clock.
It's 12:30am.
Wow, it's late. And I'm really tired.
I lay my head on Scott's chest, falling asleep.
I feel him pick me up, and carry me to a bed.
I'm not quite sure which bed I was in, I just knew that I was comfortable.
All of a sudden, I feel an arm come around my waist. Scott was holding me.
He's so cute.
I love him.

Scott's POV

Mitch ended up falling asleep on my chest.
That was the cutest thing in the whole world.
I brought him upstairs to my room, and decide to sleep in the same room as him.
I wrap my arm around him, and cover him up making sure that he was warm.
I couldn't fall asleep, so I carefully moved my arm away from mitch and got up.
I hope he didn't mind, but I didn't want to wake him up by me moving around in the bed.
I got up and walked to the kitchen.
I grabbed a water, and drank some.
I walked around the house and made sure the doors are locked. I walked back up to my room, and saw Mitch sleeping on his side.
I smiled at him and went back into my bed.
I turned off the lights and covered him up again.
I kissed his head.
I wrap my arm around him again, and start falling asleep.
I think tomorrow, I'm going to kiss him.
Maybe?
I think so.
I fell asleep, happy knowing that mitch is okay and happy.
