Lauren's P.O.V

I laid in my bed, rubbing my stomach. I'm almost seven months pregnant now. It's officially been three months since Dj just up and disappeared with Quanae leaving with him. Me nor mama has heard from either one of them.

"Lauren, Man Man's here to take you to your appointment." My mama called from the living room. I rolled out of bed and wobbled my way to the living room. I was already dressed in a maroon colored sun dress with my hair swaying down my back in a pony tail.

"Wussup bae." Man man greeted me, and came down to my height to kiss me. I smiled and returned the favor. When I fucked him, we wasn't together, but after he found out I was pregnant he wanted to make shit official. Is it crazy how you could be in love with someone that hurt someone close to you? I feel like its a sin that I have to commit. "How you feelin' ?"

"I feel a little dizzy. I'm tired. I just can't wait to have this baby. He's been kicking my ass." I admitted. Yeah I was happy I was having a baby, but its stressful as hell.

"Yeah. I feel you bae." He said opening the passenger side door to his car so I could get in. I looked at him awkwardly. That didn't make sense. "I mean, I understand what you going through, because you lo- I mean, never mind."

I looked at him again as my eyes started to water. "I LOOK FAT?" I yelled and cried at the same time. That was so hurtful.

"No bae. I was going to say, you look tired. Your not fat, your pregnant. Plus you look good thick like that." He licked his lips at me. For him to be so evil, he was fine as hell. He stood at about 6'0 even, dark skinned, with black dreads and brown tips. I usually don't fall for dread heads, but this one had my hormones screaming. I rolled my eyes while trying to get in the car. He helped me in then walked over to his side to get in.

He played music on the way to the doctors office. It wasn't awkward in the car, it was just right.

When we got there, I wobbled in, and to the front desk. The secretary greeted me, then signed me in. I sat down until my name was called.

"Lauren Jones?" My doctor's, nurse called me. I smiled while Man man helped me up, then wobbled to her. "Hey Mommy to be. Don't you look adorable. Hey dad." She greeted me and Man Man. I just smiled and waved.

We did the normal things, checked my weight, temperature, blood pressure, ultra sound, and the doctor gave me a refill on my vitamins. I thanked him and proceeded to leave.

"God I miss Quanae so much." I thought out loud. I need her here with me right now.

Man man glanced over at me, his facial expression was an expression I couldn't read but whatever. "Quanae is?" He asked while keeping his eyes on the road.

"Dj's girlfriend. The one ya know. He was with when Nicole caught him." I said trying not to bring that up again. Every time I thought about it, it made me hate the decision I made with being with Man man.

"Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah yeah. Don't stress yourself out about it, i'm sure they'll be back before you know it." He assured me while pulling back up to my mama's place.

"Are you coming in?" I asked while grabbing my purse. He got out the car, walked to my side, and helped me out.

"Um. Nah, I got business to go handle. I'll be back later tonight. It looks like you could use a foot rub. He laughed while closing the door behind me. I glanced at him. "Im kidding bae." I just shook my head and giggled. He walked me to the front door, I unlocked it and he pushed it open. "Don't be moving around too much when you get in here. I love you, and i'll be back later." He kissed me.
