When I finally got home, I was greeted by my mom.
"Honey I have great news." mom said bursting with energy.
"Mom can this wait? I just got home. Let me set my stuff down." I said feeling inpatient.
"Sweet heart this can't wait just set your stuff down on the couch." mom said still looking like she was going to burst open with excitment.
After I set my stuff down, I sat down at the dinner table so mom and I could talk more.
"Okay mom what is it that you need to tell me so bad that it looks like you are gonna die if you dont tell me?" I said waiting for a reply.
"Well this weekend your father and I have invited the Felks to come along with us to the water park that we were planning on going to." mom said smiling
"Okay so let me get this straight. We are going on our family vacation with the Felks." I said.
"Yep. Won't it be fun?" mom said
"I'm not going" I said getting up to go to my room.
"Why not honey?" mom said looking sad
"Because I think one of their sons isn't normal!" I yelled as I stormed into my room slamming the door, almost breaking it.
How could they think about inviting the Felks? I haven't even found out if Derek is even human or not.
I picked up my phone to call Mandy.
"Hey girl. Whats up?" Mandy said as she picked up the phone
" I am gonna kill my mom." I said with my voice sounding pissed.
"Why? What did she do?" Mandy said her voice ful of curiosity
"She invited Derek's family to come along with my family for our family vacation." I said starting to freak out
"Hey dude calm down. Just ignore him and have fun with your fam." Mandy said while calming down.
"Alright. Thanks Mandy." I said calmly
"Your welcome hun." Mandy said hanging up.
Okay I just need to do more research on him.

Just then I looked out my window and saw Derek staring at me.
