Several Months Later...........

       It has been 5 months since the homecoming dance. And let me say a lot has happened. like a lot. First. Everyone in the school knows that Trish is pregnant. We hid it for a while, until her belly got bigger. Her parents don't like it, so she spends most of her time at my house with Derek and I. My mom has become like her new mom. If you were wondering how Trish and Shanes relationship is doing, they are actually dating now. Cliche right? But they relized that when the baby is born it will need both of its parents to help raise it in a good household. They actually really like eachother, romantically. Next. we, mom, Shane,Derek, and I, went with Trish to her ultrasound appointment. The baby has gotten so big and the baby is a ....................................... boy! He is very healthy so far and everytime I touch Trish's belly, he kicks my hand. Isn't that cute. Trish and Shane went shopping for clothes for their baby. After the school found out about Trish being pregnant, they also found out that Derek and I are a couple. The students weren't really surprised. They were actually kind of cool about it, except for the girls that like Derek. They stuck sticky things in my locker, they left threatening notes in my binders whenever I had a class with one of them. But that only lasted 3 months then they relized that I didnt care about them and they left me alone. Mandy and Jack are still together. They are now glad to be Junoirs so now we can all go to prom. They hope to be prom king and queen this year. I kept hearing Mandy making campaining plans with her fan club leader, yes she has a fan club. It started last year halfway through the year. Homecoming was at the end of our sophmore year because the school thought it would be much better for the students. Now this year homecoming was moved to the middle of the year and prom is at the end of the year. Last year the school didn't have a prom because of a scandal with our old principal and a senior girl. Now we have a prom and a new principal, also the senior girl still graduated last year even with the scandal. Not what you expected right? Well that is how wierd my school is. And also the princi[al was a werewolf and the girl was a siren. Funny isn't it? She was the one to seduce him not the other way around. Mandy is trying to figure out a day for all of us to go dress shopping and to help Derek and Jack pick out tuxes. Mandy wants her dress to match Jack's tux, that is why we have to go first. We don't know yet if Trish is going to prom this year. Her date for homecoming dosen't want to be Trish's date. It was because he found out that Trish is pregnant and he thought that she cheated on him with another guy, eventhough they were never dating in the first place. Trish even told him that they weren't datng. She just wanted him to be her date to homecoming last year because she wanted to go with a guy friend who she felt confortable with. Then he started yelling at her and she started to cry. Luckily, Shane came to the school to take Trish to her doctors appointment. He saw the guy yelling at Trish. He walked up to the guy ,grabbed his shirt , and punched him in the face. That broke his nose and the guy hasn't talked to Trish since then. Shane and Trish are trying to figure out a name their baby. I told Trish that when the baby is born that Derek and I will babysit the little boy. She looked so happy and relieved. "Thanks Zeb, you are always there for me when I need you most." Trish said "No problem. Derek and I are always happy to help." I relied. ************************************************************************************************* (Back to the present) "Zeb. Do you want to come with Shane and I to my ultrasound appointment?" Trish asked. "Sure I would love to. Is it okay for Derek to come?" I asked "Yeah. That's fine. Would he be able to drive you?" "Yeah" "Okay! see you there at 2" Trish said, walking/waddling out of the room. She has gotten a lot bigger in the last month. She is almost done with her pregnacy. We have prepared a extra room in our house as the baby's room. It is right by Shane's room. Luckily Trish's parents said that Trish would still be living at their house as long as the baby is over at my house. They don't have the room and they can't afford to help take care of the baby.Her parents don't know who the father is. Trish thinks that if she tells them that one of my brothers is the father, then they won't let her over at my house anymore. That is where the baby and Shane are going to be. ************************************************************************************************************ We are at Trih's ultrasound appointment. When Derek and I first waled in to see her and Shane, Trish looked worried. "Hey. Are you all right?" I asked walking into the room. "I am. Just a little nervous. That's all." She replied "Why?" "Cuz I am afraid that I am going to be a bad mother." "Your not going to be a bad mother." I said as Shane came up to Trish to help her on the reclining chair. "Trish, you are going to be the best mother our baby could ever have." Shane said giving Trish a kiss on the cheek. After Shane had said that, Trish seemed to have calmed down. The tension in the room seemed to lift as well and everyone could breathe. **************************************************************************** It had been 2 hours since the appointment. The baby is fine. He is growing a lot. Trish is going to pop soon. Her doctor says to keep an eye on her because she can go into labor any week now. Trish is so happy to have the baby. She comes over to my house everyday to hangout with Shane, Me, Derek, Josie, Jacob, and my mom. Trish went to the kitchen to get something to drink. She came out and was breathing pretty hard while holding onto her glass. Her hands lost their grip on the glass and it fell and crashed onto the floor. She had a shocked/ pained expression on her face. She bent down to pick up the big chunks of glass. When she went to pick it up, she cut her hand. Blood started to pool out of the wound. Shane rushed to her side to stop the bleeding. Jacob grabbed Josie's hand and dragged her out to the backyard. I grabbed Derek and took him to the little club house in the backyard. Derek was trying to keep calm, but he couldn't hold it in. His fangs came out and his eyes turned green and went wide. I put my hand on his shoulder and he snapped his head at me. "Don't touch me!" He growled. I let go of his shoulder. He had never talked to me like that. "Sorry Derek." I said Derek didn't respond he just kept staring into space. "Derek can you hear me?"I asked him putting my hand on his shoulder trying to get his attention "I said don't touch me!" Derek yelled. He flung my hands off his shoulder and sent me flying into the wall. "OWWW! FUCK!!!" I yelled in pain. Danm it!! he almost broke my fucking arm! Shit! The fucking wall cut me! That smell of blood went through the air and Derek smelt it. His fangs seemed to glisten more, also his eyes went wide. He ran over to me an dloked at the blood running down my forearm. It seemed strange, a regular vampire would have torn me to bits at the first drop of my blood. Derek didn't do that. He just looked at me and didn't do anything. After 10 minuets or so he snapped out of his trance. He was back to being the Derek that I loved. "Oh shit Zeb!" He said kneeling down to me, "Did I do that to you?" "It's not your fault." I said barely getting my words out "I'm so sorry. Let me help you." he said grabbing the first aid kit. I always keep in the second drawer in the little house, and I kept it up to date. He cleaned out my gash and wrapped gauze around my arm. I tried to get up so we could go back inside, but I fell right back on my ass. "Zeb are you okay?"Derek said rushing to my side agian. "I'm fine, just a little weak." I replied quietly "Here. Let me help you." Derek said. He bent down and scooped me into his arms. "Thanks." I said and kissed him on the lips (Cliche I know don't judge me! -lanie-san) Derek carried me to the house where we saw Trish sleeping on the couch. Jacob and Josie were gaming together and Shane was sitting on the chair next to the couch that Trish was sleeping in. Shane saw Derek carrying me and ran to me. "What happened?" Shane asked whispearing "I was walking around the small house in the backyard and tripped. Then I cut my arm on the wall." I said whispearing weakly. "Derek can you gentely place her on the loveseat?" Shane asked Derek sat me down on the loveseat as instructed. "Can you come with me to the kitchen?" Shane asked. " Sure." he replies following him in the kitchen. "YOU IDIOT! What the fuck did you do to my sister?!!!!" Shane yelled "Quiet down! I didn't mean to hurt her." Derek said trying to settle him down "Don't tell me to calm down. How can I when I know that my little sister is dating a vampire." Shane said looking discusted. "How do you know our secret?" Derek asked "Our? Who else knows? Does Zeb know" "Yes. Zeb knows. And she still loves me." " Did you hurt her?" "I'm sorry." Derek said looking sad, "It was an accident. She tried to calm me down when I was freaking out when Trish cut herself. I didn't bite her and I never wanted to hurt her." "Does she know you didn't mean to hurt her?" "Yes she does." "Okay. Can you please be more in control. I know that you are more human thean vampire." Shane said seeming to calm down. I had heard there whole conversation. I guess they didn't relize that I could hear them. Luckily, Trish was still asleep. She looked so peaceful. ******************************************************************************************************* Derek and Shane worked out their issues. Tirsh had woken up and was hungry sor some chicken and rice. Shane and Derek went to the store to get the supplies. "Are you okay?" Trish asked me looking at my arm. "Ya. I'm good. It's just a flesh wound." I replied During the hours after I got the big gash in my arm it has started healing fast. Now it just looks like a cut. Trish looked relived. "Are you okay?" I asked "Ya. I'm okay. Just tired." She replied. We sat in silence until Derek and Shane got back. Derek went with Shane to make sure he got what Trish wanted.Also, he went to get us something to eat since he and I hadn't eaten yet. After 10 more minuets, Derek an Shane came back with the chicken and rice for Trish and Shane, Derek got us tacos. "Thanks. Shane." Trish said as Shane gave her chicken and plain rice. He got her the plain rice, so it wouldn't upset her stomach. Derek and I had downed our first 2 tacos. We were still hungry. Luckliy, Derek bought 24 tacos. 12 for me and 12 for Derek. As I was starting my forth taco, Trish let out a blood curtling scream..............................................................
