Day with Derek

Finally after both Derek and I were caught blushing at eachother, Derek said his goodbyes and went back to his room. Luckily he didn't brake our door. Just as the previous night Josie fell asleep fast. And I still can't sleep. I had a feeling Derek was a vamp. And it's all true. Urrr why do I have to be right.

"Hey Zeb get up." Josie yelled

"Thanks for the warm welcoming." I said sarcasticly

"My brother wants to hang with you today. He wants to leave in an hour so get your ass up."

"Fine. Look my ass is up." I said standing up an pointing to my ass

"Urr! you are so hard to control. He will be here in an hour so be ready for him." 

"Where are you going?" 

"I am hangin with Jacob today. Got a problem."

"Not even a smige" 

"Good. Bye"

"See ya"

Damn that girl really dosen't like me.

KNOCK! It's Derek at the door. As I open the door, I am welcomed by a calm gorgous Derek. Why does he have to be a vamp. After I was talking to myself in my head I was interupted by Derek.

"Hey" He said smilng his nice gentle smile

"Wow you look so much better when you aren't trying to kill me." I greeted him.

"Sorry Josie sounded like she was in danger." 

"Okay so where are we going?"

"We are going anywhere you want to go in this waterpark." 

"I want to go outside."

"Are you trying you trying to see if I get exposed to sunlight that I will burn."

"Ya......"

"Well sorry to brake it to you I don't turn to ash in the sun."

"Oh so that is a myth then."

"Yep. I'm guessing that they don't update those vampire hunter books."

"I guess they dont." I said.

After our conversation stopped, we decided on going to the waterpark afterall.

"Is it okay for you to be around everyone. You know because you are a vamp." I said

"It's ok. I blend in with them. Besides aren't we supposed to become friends." 

Ow! After he said that I felt a ping in my heart. Why is my mind acting like this?

" Ya let's become great friends." I said lying through my teeth. The truth is I didn't want to be just friends with him. 

We had a blast. Derek tried being Mr. cool guy by trying out the little surfing area. He kept face planting, and I was laughing my ass off.

"Hey I wasn't that bad." Derek said pouting

"Yes you were. People thought you broke your face." I said laughing

As we were passing a group of people, one of the dudes in the group bumped into me.

"Zeb!" Derek said as he saved me from the meeting my face. 

"You okay?" He asked holding me, his eyes full of worry.

I got out of his grip.

"Ya I'm fine. Thanks for making sure the floor didn't get to know my face." I said

"Wow you have such a good way with words. And why is your face red? Are you blushing?" Derek asked in a teasing tone

"Why would I be blushing? Do you think I'm attracted to the floor?'

"No." 

"Okay then, Lets go eat something."

"Okay. I think after we are done eating we will have to go back to the hotel."

"Ya and hey how do you drink blood with Jacob roomin with you?"

" I have waterbottles that are metal that hold the blood. He just thinks I drink a lot of water."

"Ok good. Now lets go get some pizza."

Finnally the day is over. Derek went back to his hotel room, while I went back to the room I share with the little she-devil Josie.

As I walk in I am greated by her. "Hey Zeb" 

"Hi"

"Did you have a fun day with Derek?" 

"Ya I did." 

"Good. Now you know he is no threat to us."

"Ya I know."

"I have one thing to ask of you"

"What Is it?"

"Will you help protect my brother."

"Why?"

"Cuz you are constantly with him."

"Uh sure I guess."

"Good. Now I am going to bed. Night."

"Night."

After she went to sleep, I got into my bed and actually fell asleep.

All I could dream about was Derek.
