Red roads rival black
White lines separate us
All for to the right
Those opposed to the left
This is how we begin

Marni says we should be going
She only says that when she is unsure
She is cautious always
Her hair tight in a bun
Never done anything wrong before

Eleanor is scared
Her hands shake for a battle is near
I hear her heart race
She believes this is right
but doesn't know how to fight

Anna yells toward the other side
Her voice is loud and clear
She says that it's her body
Only 17 but head strong
her eyes have cried for 3 life times

Lily fears her mother will know
Dodging camera after camera
She shouldn't be here but always is
fathers a doctor, never payed the price how could she know the pain?

Amber feels no fear, only passion
Her heart is beating in perfect time
Smiles as wild as the meadow flowers we'd pick as children
She is a warrior in battle

My sister's are strong
Thier voices echo a million times
Children will learn of their fight
Children will know their faces
Marni, Eleanor, Anna, Lily and Amber
Will be known as fighters in the women's right movement.
I know them by name
My sister's in arms
