*6 years from last chapter*

"That bring us to now, you have mom and dad, each other of course... And your amazing aunts and uncles." I conclude to the three children sitting at the edge of our huge bed. One of the things I had been blessed with shortly after the kids came along. The money James got from the island adventure really paid off. Literally.

"Don't forget Gordon." Skye whined as she pointed to the dog, sitting on its bed in the corner of our room.

"We could never forget Gordon." James laughs at her.

Tonight was one of the night the kids came rushing into our room to ask for a story before we put them to bed. Tonight, they had all decide to hear the James and Victoria story. From the beginning.

"Were there big monsters on the island?" Aidan asked slowly. Skye's eyes widened. Before we could answer Luscious beat us to it.

"Yes! They could get you in one bite!"

Skye ran up to James and hugged him. Shaking slightly. I sigh and shake my head. This is why Luscious is Luscious.

"That was a very bad thing to do to your sister." James sternly tells him, holding poor Skye close to him.

"I didn't mean to scare her. I was just saying..." Luscious tries to defend himself. Bad move.

"Well look at what's happened. C'mon boys. Time for bed." I get up and pick up Aidan, Luscious grabs my hand and we go to their shared room. We tried to separate them but they refused. I tuck Aidan in while Luscious makes himself comfortable in his bed.

"Goodnight Aidan. Sleep tight." I kiss his forehead, he giggles and I smile. I turn to Luscious' bed but Aidan's little voice stops me.

"Will daddy come say goodnight?"

"He'll be in when he calms Skye down." I assure him. He nods, smiling. I'm thankful that our kids love both of us. I wouldn't be surprised it Skye was asking James the same question about me. I walk over to Luscious' bed and sit on the edge of it. I put my hand on his head and ruffle his dark brown hair slightly. It was longer than Aidan's because he liked how cool it looked.

"It wasn't a very nice thing to do to your big sister you know." I tell him. I looks down guiltily and nods.

"I'm sorry." He apologises.

"It's not me you need to say that to. You need to say sorry to your father when he comes in and say the same to Skye in the morning." I tell him. He nods again.

"Now, no more sad face for me." I mimic his face and he laughs. I kiss his cheeks and he giggles again. I can't help but laugh at him. He's just so cute.

"Okay mommy."

"Alright, goodnight boys." I say to both of them as I get of the bed and turn towards the door, jumping slightly when I see James is there.

"They're all yours." I smile as I walk past him. He grabs my arm lightly and pulls me back. Without any warning he kisses me. I smile into it and raise an eyebrow as we pull away.

"What was that for?" I ask him, the grin not leaving my face.

"I love you." He responds, seriously.

"I love you too. But it wouldn't hurt you to smile once in a while." I tease him and peck his lips again. This time when I pull away he has a small smile on his lips.

"Well, that's a start."

And with that, I saunter into Skye's room. Her little pink lamp is still on. She was sitting up, waiting for me.

"Hey sweetie." I smile at her, her eyes light up when she sees me and she holds her arms out, making grabby hands at me. I giggle and reach over, hugging her tightly.

When we pull away I cup her face in my hands and move a stray piece of hair from her eyes.

"Now, you listen to me and not your brothers. Okay? Nothing's gonna hurt you. Mommy and daddy are always gonna take care of you. I promise." I smile and kiss her forehead. She smiles and lays back, I pull the quilt over her and tuck her in tight.

I turn off her lamp and walk to her door, grabbing the handle. Before I close it completely I look at her.

"Goodnight Skye."

"Night night mommy."

I close the door slowly and quietly. Letting out a content sigh when I do. I walk into James and I's bedroom. I close the door behind me and collapse on the bed beside James, laying face up and looking at the ceiling.

"Although this get too much for me sometimes... I wouldn't change a single thing." I smile and look up to my husband, I see him already smiling down at me.

"Neither would I." He replies. I lean up and kiss him. When one kiss leads to another and another I end up with my arms around his neck as he hovers over me.

"James the kids." I pull away, slightly breathless and dizzy. But that's just the effect he had on me. No matter what I wasn't in complete control of myself around James. Part of me always wanted to do something that I knew I shouldn't do.

"You know as well as I do that they won't wake up." James replies, kissing down my neck. I suck in a sharp breath when he finds my sweet spot and abuses it.

"Good thing they take after you then." I finally give in. Hey, don't judge. You'd do the same.

We continued our actions well into the morning. Barely any sleep taking over us. A knock on the door tore me away from my needed rest.

"Yes?" James groggily answers, I pull the sheets up so only my shoulders were visible. Neither of us move as we hear the door being pushed open.

"Aunt Mason's here!" Skye shouts, I wince at the sound slightly but still manage to open my eyes and smile. I look at the door. Mason standing trying to contain her laughter.

"You completely forgot didn't you?"

"Yeah, yeah I really did." I respond. Mason was getting married in 8 months, this weekend we are going dress shopping for her. She said she'd take the kids for a night or two to give herself a break from wedding planning.

"Well they're pretty much ready to go, so we'll see you downstairs to say goodbye in a few minutes okay?"

"Okay."

When Mason closes the door again I sigh. I begin to get up but James stops me.

"What?" I laugh at him.

"Think we have time?" He asks, it doesn't take a psychic to figure out what he meant. I look at the clock.

"We definitely have time." I smirk at him.

I wasn't lying when I said I wouldn't change a thing. My life is really just beginning, there's so much more to come. I can't wait to figure out what it is. My memories never fade. I'll always remember who I am.
