Everybody's looking forward to the winter training but before that, I bet the school's excited to have the Christmas bash this evening. Of course it's an open school event so it'll be twice as fun. I'm actually a bit worried though. Valentine's gonna perform and it'll be her first time on stage. I wanna give her the motivational 'YOU CAN DO IT' speech but it seems that I can't find her anywhere.
"Mark, have you seen Valentine? I've been looking all over for her" I asked Mark who was wearing his usual annoying smile.
"Ah, Danny, just the guy I wanna see. I was actually with her just a few minutes ago. Check my Instagram, she's so pretty. She's already getting ready for the---"
I quickly checked his Instagram account where he just posted a picture of him and Valentine while the production team is doing the preparations. She already has her makeup and everything and she looks pretty as well BUT WHY MARK?!
"Are you kidding me? You should've told me! She's not answering her phone" I'm just so frustrated because every time I look for her, she won't answer her phone.
He sighed.
"Because she left it in her room, that's why I went to see her so I could let her borrow my phone." He said.
"W--what?"
Am I hearing him right? He's actually helping me out? For real?
"I left her my phone so you can call her. I can't actually break in the girl's dormitory to get her phone, though it's not impossible but still it'll take some time." I'm relieved and at the same time worried by the fact that he's actually capable of doing those things.
"You. . . . are a genius!" I gave him a pat on the back.
"Thank you. I know." He proudly said.
Without a moment later, I called Valentine.
"Hello? Danny?" She answered.
"Val, hey! I was looking all over for you." I said.
"Yeah, We did the final rehearsal this morning and I didn't have time to eat lunch with you guys, I also forgot my phone so, sorry." Her voice sounded a bit down.
"It's fine, are you okay though, I mean, you're seriously doing this." I said.
"Yeah, I'm fine thanks."
"Did you have lunch though? I mean--" I was distracted when I saw her walking not far from us. She's so pretty wearing a leather skirt and a sparkly top. I can't believe that I'm actually looking at the same Valentine.
I looked closer and saw she as with that idiot Jake Walter. Aish, look at him carrying an umbrella for her.
"Here have some water." I heard Jake's voice over the phone.
"Oh, thanks Jake" Valentine answered.
"Was that --- ay seriously, why is he doing that? Who does he think he is?" I couldn't help but rant.
"Danny?" Val said.
"I'm gonna---" I was seriously almost gonna run up to them and greet Jake with a flying kick to the head but luckily Mark stopped me.
"Hey hey hey! Stop it! Give me the phone.!" He grabbed his phone back.
"Uhm, Val, something just came up. We'll see you later yeah?" He said and hung up.
