Valentine Hart

I kept calling Joy that night when she found out and yesterday too, but she won't answer me. I met the production team yesterday and they're not actually the HIGH-FIVE gang that I expected. Of course, all of them especially the performers were amazing. Watching them rehearse was like getting a VIP ticket in a concert. The horrible part is that performer's spot are usually for the juniors and seniors while the lower years are the understudy, now since I got a performer's spot, they're staring daggers at me. Good things is Jake was there. I almost didn't recognize him because he wasn't wearing glasses like when he helped me with my locker. Even though a a sophomore, he got a performer's spot which is like unquestionable since he's so good and everybody likes him.

"V-Val, is it true? It's not, right?, I mean there's no way right?" Mark said. He was so annoying with these questions I can barely hold my spoon right.

"I don't wanna talk about it." I looked down on my tray. Joy didn't eat with us today. She sat down the the seniors from the archery team.

"So it's true? No---way!" He started fanboying all of a sudden considering most of the popular girls are from the music department or from the gymnastics or from the ballet or from the---- you get me right?

"MARK, SHUT UP!" Daniel yelled at him.
"Val, how did it go with the production team?" Daniel asked me nicely.

"Yeah I saw them yesterday, then five minutes later I'm the talk of the school. And believe me, it's not something pleasant to hear." I said.

"We heard it anyway." Mark said. Right, really comforting.

"MARK!" Daniel yelled at him again.

"What? I'm just saying"

"I'm sorry guys, I know you mean well but I don't think I can talk about it. I'll see you around yeah?" I said and left. To be honest I'm just gonna prepare myself since I'll be meeting with the production team yet again this afternoon. I'm actually been rehearsing alone with our teacher and voice coaches and stuff before I get to learn the rest of the performance. They haven't seen me do anything yet so I guess that's why they kept staring at me like I don't belong.

I spent the whole afternoon learning my performance, I'll be singing Ariana Grande's PUT YOUR HEARTS UP. It's not that I don't like the song it's just the process of achieving the level of performance that they want is horrifying. I mean, I didn't actually had the full rehearsal of my performance, I'm just still learning the steps for the dance and all. It was just hard considering very one was rehearsing for their performance too.

Today, I was assigned an understudy named Alex, a freshmen in the music department. It was actually fun learning the performance with her but I miss Joy so much that I almost tripped while dancing.

"GOSH I'M SO STUPID! Kill me already" I was just resting on the school park. I didn't want to go back to the dorm yet because I don't want to talk to Rachel. She's extremely acting weird lately and as much as I wanna talk to Daniel and maybe share my thoughts to him, I can't handle Rachel. She'll probably order to have my head by the end of the year.

"Are you sure?" A voice came out of nowhere.

"AAH!" I was startled.

"Cause I could help you. There's a bridge over a lake not far from here." Vince said from behind and sat beside me.

"What? I'm sorry, why are you here?" I said.

"Why are YOU here?" He shot back. Gosh, I didn't know he was like this because let's face it, I only talked to him for a few minutes.
