"Hope, it's time to-" I hear the door to my room open loudly. I open my eyes rubbing the sleep from them. I see Tony looking around the room in surprise. I glance around. Wanda is sprawled beside me in the bed her brown hair draped over the pillows and Pietro is lying on his stomach on a palette of blankets on the floor beside the bed. White sheets are hanging from the ceiling. They drape down and are pulled back to attach to the opposite walls. Wanda had called it a fort. "What happened here?"

A sleepover. He seems to understand and smiles slightly.

"Breakfast is ready if you can get the twins up. Just remember the early bird gets the worm." With that he leaves. I can't help but smile at the random inspirational quote of the day. I shake Wanda slightly. She groans and rolls over looking up me.

"What?" her voice heavy with her accent this early in the morning.

"Breakfast is ready." She nods and pulls herself up. She glances at Pietro in the floor and sighs.

"It's almost impossible to wake him up," she explains putting her hand to her head thinking. I glance around and notice a cup of water on the nightstand. I think about using it and Wanda must have been listening because she gets this devious look on her face and turns to me.

"Perfect." She grabs the cup and slowly pours some of it on Pietro's head. The speedster shoots up faster than I can blink looking around crazily. I can't help it. I bust out laughing. Wanda soon joins me. Pietro seems to understand what happened so he is calmed down.

Breakfast...is...ready. I manage to get out in between laughs. We all get up and head to the kitchen. By the time we get there I finally have calmed myself down enough to stop laughing. Steve must have been cooking again because it smells amazing. We enter and I head straight for a plate stacked high of pancakes. Just before I am about to dig in I hear Clint talking to Pietro.

"Why is your hair wet?" I look at Wanda who has sat down beside me and we bust out laughing again. It feels so good. I feel the connection begin to form. I look at my hands and see a faint yellow glow. I look up and meet Wanda's eyes. She seems concerned.

"Hope?" she asks staring at my eyes which were probably glowing a bright yellow.

"It's fine. Yellow is nice. I can control it," I say lifting my hands. The energy shoots into the air and explodes. Not violently. Small yellow sparkles distribute throughout the room settling on everyone before slowly disappearing.

"What just happened?" asks Tony standing up trying to brush the unseen sparkles off of him.

"I don't know but I feel great. I barely got any sleep last night and was exhausted, but now I feel great and full of energy," says Steve walking over. They all look to me for confirmation. I still am not great with talking to all of them.

Happiness. It's only happened once before. I think it revitalizes. They all seem to process this and head back to their breakfasts.

Hope POV

Once I was done with my breakfast, I notice Bruce glancing at me.

What is it?

"I had an idea concerning your powers but I need to ask a couple more questions if that's okay?" he asks turning to me. I nod giving him consent. I vaguely notice everyone in the room listening to our conversation. "When the connection is made to your powers is it possible to not let any energy go?" I shake my head.
