*Woosh fffff... woosh*
The soft gentle wind was all Alice could hear in her tired confuse daze. Against all the worried muffles of Queen Catherine, and the sumptuous maddening melody of the Hatta's songs. Alice could feal her heart was slowing down to a drowning beat, feeling exhausted though she rested for quite some time. Jest wondered over and knelt down to her pulling off on gloved hand and resting it gently over her forehead. His hand had a cold disembodied sensation to it, it was both a relief, and unsettling feal towards it. She felt something new and familiar about this ghost boy, but her mind lost all track of thought when she just started to listen to the world around her.
"Alice child are you alright?" asked Queen Catherine worriedly touching her burning cheek.
"I believe so, what in the world is Hatta doing?" asked Alice looking towards the crazed man who was singing and dancing on a log eating a pine cone merrily.
"I believe he might have a bit madness within him," sighed Jest, "Just a bit, or his father might have given him a bit too much berries as a kid."
Alice laughed slightly though not getting the berries joke, and Queen Catherine marched over to Hatta trying to take away the pine cone away from him. Which only caused quite of mess of shouting and Hatta spitting pine cone bits glazed with fresh saliva into Queen Catherine's face. Jest flew over and threw Hatta into the river. Queen Catherine ran to wash her face disgusted from Hatta's childish display.
Hatta drenched in ever bit of him, slowly stood up from the water in a fierce angry looking face, "I'm guess it must have been my ghost friend Jest who have through me into the water," madness seemed to be cleaned out of his mind. Though just five seconds ago he as singing in gibberish and spitting pine cone shards.
Alice nodded slowly as Jest grinned, "Well I thought that water would help clean your act, and awaken the Hatta I once knew," Jest laughed, though Alice could see through his act, in his eyes she could tell that he was pained by Hatta's madness, in a way that Alice could not yet quite understand.
"Well can you tell him to listen to this before I fall back asleep, and the madness comes back," He sighed stepping out of the water and put back on his top hat as water poured down again down his face, "Finding father time will be your greatest quest, and Jest you have already messed up on the capturing the Queen's heart for Chess. Horribly might I add. But any ways the child's tiara is allowing her heart to be more vulnerable than it already is, so do not forget that fact other wise you will have no mender," he said tipping his hat and started humming yet another song that made no sense,
"Dearest Nightingale, how sweet you are to tell,
You shall forever be here to protect,
You must ever be in wishing wells,
Telling tales, and binding you sails,
To save hearts, to give the light,
But stay weary of the night,
Stay weary when you must fight,
What makes you think of a hero,
Is all really a joke of a zero."
Jest sighed turning towards Alice as Queen Catherine returned punching Hatta in the head.
"Well at least we know what is wrong, but how must we conduct this?" asked Jest more to himself than to anyone else. Raven landed on Alice's right arm as she was still lying down studying her closely, then cocked his his once and then twice. hopping up her arm leaning in towards the thumbing of her heart beat very silent but studying very closely.
