Confronting Kayano
---Nagisa's POV
It seems that it's almost late. I gotta get home now.
I pulled away from Korosensei and thanked him for everything, and told him I'll hold onto the promise as best as I can.
Kayano might be a handful sometimes, but to me, she's more like the missing piece that would help me achieve my dream, or something like that. I knew that we were somehow alike. I didn't know it before, but now I do.
"Have a safe trip home, Nagisa!" Korosensei shouted as I ran back towards the building.
"Thanks Korosensei!" I shouted back while waving my hand.
I made it out of the classroom grounds just as the sky darkened and glanced back the building for the last time. But the view stopped me from walking downhill.
Surprisingly, I saw the classroom's ceiling lights on, and Kayano's bag was still there.
Is it just me or did she forgot her bag.
Wait...
I look a little more closer.
That light wasn't on earlier. Is Korosensei there? Or maybe...
I glance a little to the left and saw Korosensei by the window in the staff room. It seems he's doing something.
I know that it's already time to go home. But a word from Korosensei prevented me to. The promise. If Kayano's still around, and in this hour late, there's no telling what could happen to her when she walks home, alone.
I gathered my courage and walked back towards the building. I went inside, and made my way towards the staff room.
By the time I was getting nearer, I could hear voices inside. Is Korosensei talking to somebody?
*knock knock♪*
"Korosensei?" I knocked at the door twice and called out to Korosensei.
"Is that you, Nagisa?" I heard him respond.
"Yes, sorry to bother you, but by any chance, have you seen Kayano somewhere sir?" I asked him.
Korosensei didn't respond for a while. I called his name again in attempt to bring him back to his senses, but there was still no response.
Then suddenly, I heard a stool being dragged on the wooden floor and footsteps coming closer to the door. I was expecting Korosensei opening the door knob, but instead...
"Hey Nagisa." After the door opened, revealed a green-haired girl smiling at me. It...It was Kayano!
"Kayano!?" I got startled a little bit, forcing me to take a few steps backwards.
"Yeah, it's me silly! Were you expecting someone else?" She said in a cheerful voice.
"Oh, uh yeah, I was expecting Korosensei opening the door." I managed to calm down and sighed.
