#5 Butter and Pancakes

(Y/N) pulled the home made syrup from the higher cabinet above the sink. Her pancakes were finished and now cooling off on the marble counter. She grabbed the butter from inside the fridge and placed it on the table. "Mom never let me try butter on my pancakes." (Y/N) licked her lips eagerly. (Y/N) was very dainty she had very noticeable manners. She cut a little square of butter and let it melt into her pancake. Then she drizzled the syrup on top, after that she cut the pancake with her butter knife and fork. Before she took a bite she realized. It's too quiet. She slid out from her chair and picked a station on the radio that she liked. Just then her (f/s) favorite song. Came on. (Y/N) lip synced and then started to sing with it after realizing that no one could hear her. Then she felt as if she was forgetting something. "Oh yeah my pancakes!" She giggled and ran into the kitchen.

Branch's POV;

I lost Creek and Guy Diamond on the way into these woods. They were captured my these horsemen. It was a smart idea because they carried sacs of equipment and the guards mistook that for the lost princess's crown. But I was the one who actually had it. Thank god they aren't chasing me anymore they shot my leg with an arrow and I need to find someone that can help me. I make my way through a vine filled cavern. "I've never been to this side of the woods before." I said to myself and pushed some vines out of my way. Then as a little bit of light was shown I rushed towards it brushing the vines out of my way. Then I came out of that cavern and what I saw was unexplainable. A tower that was about 300 feet tall with vines that climbed up to the top with beautiful flowers on each one. I wonder if they could help me. I thought rushing to the tower and looking at where to climb. Okay I found a few spots that will be easy for me and my leg hopefully someone's home.

(Y/n)'s POV;

I finished those delicious pancakes and washed up my plate in the sink. Maybe I'd draw again. But this time I'll draw something special. I will draw my favorite constellation.
