Trolls Branch x Reader

#18 Morning

Hey guys VodkaFace69 here! Something went wrong with the last page you guys read, it didn't save or something but they did go to sleep and you were very cozy by the fire sorry guys..

Poppy's POV;

Ive been searching all night for (Y/N) and her capturer...so far nothing. I saw smoke in the sky just recently and maybe I could investigate. The smoke is starting to thin as it rises in the sky, I had better hurry.

Your POV;

I wake up smelling something cook and I hear sizzling. I open my (e/c) eyes and looked around. It's too bright!! Ahh!! I shut them tightly. "Wake up sleepy." I hear Branch say calmly. "We have to get moving." I sat up and stretched feeling ten years older. "Why." I moaned. "So we can get there faster and get you home." Branch explained as I opened my eyes. I glanced at him as he worked with the fire. I noticed he was frying up eggs in a pan. "Where the hell did you get the pan?!" I said giggling a bit. "I found an abandoned house this morning while I was looking for food, and then one thing led to another." Branch smiled eyeing the eggs hungrily. "And I'm guessing you laid the eggs." I smirked and teases him. He looks around as I sat next to him. "Maybe." He says giggling away. I laughed to and he drew the pan away from the fire. "I think they're done." He said trickling back into reality. "Why you cook your babies?" I ask him. He widens his eyes. "I eat my own kind." We laughed and the laughter built up inside me causing my laugh to echo throughout the woods.

Poppy's POV;

That's (Y/N)'s laugh. I know it. She wasn't captured, she ran away. Ooooo she is gonna get the beating of her life when I catch her. I follow the powerful laughs angrily.

Branch's POV;

Her laugh is so powerful, I love it. There's a lot I love about her, she's just adorable...ah! What am I thinking. I can't do this. If we ever did get together, I'd never want her to end up like my mother did. Dead. I grab her hand awakening the butterflies within my stomach. "Come on we gotta go." She raised her eyebrow. "But what about the eggs? I'm not leaving until we eat." I rolled my eyes and picked up one of the eggs. I shoved the whole thing in my mouth. She gasped. "I've always wanted to try that." I raised an eyebrow as I chewed. She picked up the other egg and held it over her mouth then shoved it in just as I did. "That was soooo much fun!!" She said with egg in her mouth. I looked at her wondering what the heck was wrong with her. She swallowed. "I've always wanted to eat like a pig just once, my mom is strict about manners." I straitened. "Oh." She smiled and got up. "Come on lets go!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me through the woods. "You're fast!" I tell shocked as she zipped through the woods. "Thanks!" She said excitedly.
