Sometimes, human life is like a game of hide and seek, like a patintero. Now, you will chase. Tomorrow? You never know, you may be the one to chase, and next time, you will be the one to be chased.
What if you are in a situation where you are not involved but you feel you need to chase, find and protect someone who's important to you and yourself as well. But at the same time you also want to run and hide for your own safety or welfare?
You want to be selfish, at least once. You did not want to get into that situation, but you did get in, even if it was against you. What will you do?
They say, as long as destiny dictates, everything will be fine in the end. They also said that no one can really avoid destiny because everyone who is destined to meet, will meet in the end. We can avoid the commands and dictates of our parents, but not the dictates of destiny.
Is destiny the same as fate? No. The words fate and destiny can be no different, as they both refer to the distant future. First, destiny is determined by the stars in the sky as fate depends on life choices. Second, we all have the ability to make our fate for that to be our destiny. So the answer is no, because you have a choice.
