Chapter 3: Acceptance

Instead of doing Povs I've decided to just tell it as if someones reading a book, but if you guys prefer the characters povs, then just let me know by commenting

Millie heard a knock on the door and she lightly moved Sadie's head to the side, just so that she wouldn't wake Sadie up. As soon as Millie opened the door Finn and Noah burst in worry-faced, "Is everything ok?", "Wheres Sadie!", "Who hurt her feelings, because whoever did I will go too their house and -" Noah was about today something bad but Millie cut him off, " Shhh! she's sleeping, don't wake her up!" Millie whispered at them very strictly. "Sorry Mills, we're just looking out for our friend thats all." Finn said, his voice also hushed down. "It's ok Finn, she's in my room, you guys can follow me."  Noah and Finn nodded and followed Millie down the hall and into her room, Sadie's head was buried into the pillow and her bright orange hair was stranded all over the place, Millie went back to lay down next to her and Finn knelt at the end of the bed near Millie as Noah went to take Sadie's hand. "Hey Sadie, its Noah, and Finn is here too.... Millie told us what happened and I know what it feels like, it was kind of hard for my father to accept me in a way too, you don't have to be afraid. Of course it's going to take time for him to adjust to the new you so stop doubting and worrying your self and have some fun! Think of the positive side, the rest of your family is very supportive for you and happy that you came out... but for some people it just takes time so please wake up" Noah said tugging her hand, Sadie had listened to what he had said and it warmed her heart that she had friends and family who where supportive of her. He was right she should be happy, she's now with the girl of her dreams and no longer has to hide the fact that she likes girls because she came out. Sadie slowly sat up and Millie kissed her cheek and brushed Sadie's wavy hair out of her face revealing the lovely Sadie Sink. "Im glad your back my ginger queen." Millie said and Sadie smiled. Noah and Finn pulled them all into a hug and they didn't let go until Sadie's phone started buzzing, Finn, Noah, and Millie pulled away while Sadie got up to get her phone. When she looked at the phone her eyes widened. It was her father who was trying to face time her, she quickly exited Millie's room and Millie was about to get up but Finn stopped her, "No, let her handle this." He said to Millie, " But what if she starts crying again?" Millie asked slightly worried, "Im sure everything is going to be fine, but we can listen just in case." Noah said so they all got up and walked to door of the living room to hear why Sadie's father was face timing her. Sadie hesitated for a second but then answered the phone and she couldn't believe what she saw once she opened it, it was her father wearing a rainbow tie and smiling. He wiped a tear from his eye and then said, "Im so proud of you for opening up to who you truly are, and I will always love you baby girl.... no matter what."  "Thank you daddy.", Sadie said with tears of joy poring down her face, she was even happier now that her father had accepted her. All of those horrible thoughts that she had earlier had gone away, it was as if there was a huge thunder storm poring on her doubting her telling her all of these horrible things and then all of a sudden the sun came out. The rain went away all of the bad went away and a huge happy rainbow spread across the whole world that was full of joy and happiness, Sadie's heart was full of love again. "Well I gotta go continue to work but I love you and Ill be wearing this Tie for as long as I could, oh I even got us matching buttons, if that helps." Sadie's father said, she shook her head and started laughing and so did he, "Well, see you next week, because I know Millie's parents are going to be out of town and we didn't want her to be lonely, so you can stay over there ok?" he said, "Thats great dad." Sadie said and he showed his tie one more time and the call ended. Sadie was grinning from ear to ear wiping off the tears off of her face, Millie, Finn and Noah ran out and hugged her really tightly and started jumping up and down, "SEE I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU!!" Noah shouted in joy. Noah and Finn finally let go but Millie still held on to Sadie, "um.. Mills you can let go now..." Sadie said, Millie was about to let go but then Sadie accidentally took a step backwards and Millie fell on top of her then Sadie started laughing, "You clumsy beauty." Sadie said giggling, Millie giggled too and wrapped her arms around Sadie waist, Sadie wrapped her hands around Millie's shoulders and she leaned in for a kiss. To Sadie Millie was her world and to Millie Sadie was her queen, together they ruled the world. Sadie heart was so full of joy she never wanted the moment to end but she then remembered that Finn and Noah where there so she let go, and so did Millie. But when they looked over Noah and Finn where on the couch eating each others faces off, "So did this turn into a kissing fest?" Millie said laughing her head off, Finn and Noah quickly pulled away from each other, both of their faces very flushed with embarrassment and excitement. "Oh!-Uh-um... sorry, we saw you guys kissing and um, er" Finn stuttered, Millie and Sadie just kept laughing, "It's ok you guys don't be embarrassed, Its cute." Sadie said smiling, "Lets all just watch a movie!" Millie suggested, "Yea, my parents are dropping of clothes for me and Finn and I would probably be really weird if they came in and saw us having a smooching fest." Noah said giggling, once he said that we all just could not stop laughing, "OK guys what MOVIE will be PICK?" Millie said in between laughs, they where all a hot mess. "How about we watch 16 candles!" Finn suggested, That was one of his favorite 80's movies. "Ok 16 candles it is, or does anyone else have any suggestions?" Millie asked but no one else suggested anything, Millie then got up and went to go get the DvD and came back to put it into the tv, but before she was about to start it Sadie then said, "Oh wait what about snacks!"Oh my god Sadie your right!" Millie said, Just then the doorbell rang and Millie went to go answer it, Noah mom was at the door, "Hey Mills, Noah and Finn are here right? I have their clothes for the week," Oh hey mom, thanks." Noah said as he got up and went to go get the bags from his mom, "Alrighty love you, I have to drop off your sister at her friends house so I gotta go, have fun!" Love you too mom. " Noah said and hugged her, she then left and Millie locked back the door, "Aww someone is a momma's boy!" Sadie said poking Noah, He just giggled and then gave Finn his bag of clothes. Finn and Noah wanted to take a shower so Millie showed them the too the 2 guest bathrooms one upstairs and one down stairs, so during that Millie and Sadie made popcorn and got out candy, "Look you have Sour patches and skittles? THIS IS HEAVEN!" Sadie said excitedly as she twirled around the kitchen, her long ginger wavy hair flowing around, " Why are you so cute!" Millie said laughing as she was making the popcorn. Sadie blushed really hard but then said, "Why are you so beautiful?" Millie blushed a little too but laughed it off, They walked to the couch and set the snacks up and Sadie laid down Millie's lap waiting for the boys to come out. "Hey guys lets watch the movie!" said Finn coming out from the upstairs bathroom along with Noah coming from the one downstairs. Millie started the movie and dimmed the lights, the movie wasn't to long but it was very good, Noah cuddled with Finn and played with Finns crazy hair while Sadie was on Millie's lap. The movie then ended, "So Finn and Noah do you want to sleep in the guest room thats next to mines, or the living room?" Millie asked, "We can go in the guest room." Finn said and Noah nodded smiling. "Well, Goodnight!" Millie and Sadie said as they walked to the guest room, Sadie got up and followed Millie to her room. Millie turned on music and closed her door, "You listen to music in your sleep?" Sadie asked grinning, "Yea all the time, it relaxes me." Millie said also smiling, Sadie and Millie both sat on Millie's bed for a while staring at each other in silence until Millie said, "Sadie?", "Yea Mills?", instead of saying anything else Millie leaned towards Sadie and kissed her very softly, "Im glad that your happy now.", Sadie felt he heart pound in excitement the kiss felt so real and not awkward, "Yea, I am too." Sadie said smiling, Millie then turned off the lights and laid down. Sadie restored her head on Millie's chest as Millie fell asleep, Sadie could not stop thinking about how happy she was, she was also very relived and no longer stressed out. She didn't feel left out anymore, she didn't feel as if she was in that dark whole, she was just happy. Sadie was glad that her father and family had finally accepted her for who she was and she didn't have to hide it from anyone anymore. As she was slowly falling asleep she smiled and thought to her self, that she could finally be herself.
