"W-wait? What?!" sigaw ko sa telepono

Nasa banyo si Kol ngayon, naliligo. Habang ako'y nandito sa kama, nakahiga at gulat.

"Gosh Venus! Mamatay ako sa heart attack dahil sayo!" sigaw ng kaibigan ko sakin.

Umirap ako.

"Akala ko ba hate mo siya?"

I don't know if I should be happy or what that he is here.

"So let's change the topic. Mamaya mag ba-bridal shower ka!" he excitedly said.

"Bridal shower? Tonight?!" gulat kong tanong

"Oo! Bakit? Bukas hindi na pwedi kasi lilipad ka ng Aklan, right? So we will do it tonight!" sagot niya.

"How did you know about that?" tanong ko naman.

Then I realized...

"Bukas na pala yon... bilis talaga ng araw." sabi ko without realizing I am getting married so soon.

"Ikakasal kana bess!!"
