Tear me open, look inside
Now I have nothing left to hide
With each stride I take, my bones begin to break
I begin to hesitate and ask myself, was this a mistake?
Are the breaths I take every day worth it?Tear me open, leave it behind
I will forget about you because you weren't worth my time, you weren't even worth a dime, it's pretty sad
I tried and tried but you disregarded me like I was nothing
My breathing will soon mean somethingTear me open, I am a light
I pondered at night wondering if she was the one
Run away if she didn't think the same
Just being your best friend kept me sane, I could have my happy end
My breathing quickenedTear me open, I am yours
Let me be the sword that helps you ward off your demons
I will be there for you until the world ends
My skin is softer now that I'm in love
My breathing is now strong and tough
