I want to be the blanket that you cover up with that protects you from everything
The rising sunrise looks more beautiful when you're with me
Lately I've been contemplating my dreams, forever with you is the end goal
We used to be just a small piece of coal that kept the fire burning
Now we're an entire electric company that keeps the city running
You always would get involved in shitty, abusive relationships
I'm glad that I was invited into your life, I will keep you actually happy and free from strife
You are my light, you keep everything illuminated in my life
I had the chance to fight and I took it
Getting to be with you was the price, I fixed some problems and got on my flight
You are everything right and beautiful, I can't wait to propose
That beautiful smile makes me wild
Sometimes we act like we're children, but that's what makes us the most deadly weapon
We are so much different than normal couples, we could be trying to rap hopsin at Walmart at 2am, or we could go out to eat at a fancy restaurant
Everything is so nonchalant and carefree with you
That's what makes everything so alive and true
This love of ours is so active and alive that my ears are ringing
I didn't think I could ever find someone more important than anything
