I'm joined by Fenix and Nolan at the edge

I'm joined by Fenix and Nolan at the edge. "It's a street. We're on top of an underground skyscraper and we're looking down at a road." I say in disbelief. Grace's voice rings out from behind us. "I found a door that leads inside!" She chimes. We follow her into the dark building, seeing that every surface is thoroughly covered in dust. We reach a stairwell and take it down to ground level. Standing on the street, also covered in dust, I look up and can see the light shining in through the trap door we opened, now looking small and very distant above the skyscraper. "An entire abandoned city underground. But why?" Nolan says quietly. "It's eerily silent here. I don't like it." Fenix replies. We hear a shuffling and the sound of somethings walking on broken glass. I bring up my Galil and switch off the safety. "On me." I say with a tone of great authority I didn't intend to produce. My friends arrange behind me, guns trained on the area the sound came from. I see a flash of something huge and black sprint across the road. We follow it into a warehouse, the darkness of the starless, moonless sky making us jump at shadows. I push open the door and we all hear a low growl. "Shit." Fenix says. We all crouch in a square, pointing our weapons in all directions. "Got a visual." Nolan says. "Bloody hell...thing's huge."

Nolan's POV

I watch as a massive shadow steps through a doorway, disappearing out of sight. "Stay close." I say, taking the lead. My M1 Carbine glimmers bravely in the darkness. Everyone is behind me, lights shining around. We reach a large room with some manufacturing machines. I hear a shuffle and sudden silence, instinctively I look up, breathing heavy from fear. I see bare rafters, nothing wrong. I exhale, relieved. Returning my gaze to the room, I spot a pair of glowing eyes. Another low growl. We walk between the machines and I hear a louder shuffle, maybe ten feet away. "Stay frosty." I say. We reach the wall, no sign of the source of the noises. I hear a loud whoosh, and can't see Sig anymore. "Shit!! Sig?!" I shout. "Where the hell did he go?!" Fenix says.

Siegfried's POV

I wake up laying on something slick. I reach into my trenchcoat and pull my USP and flashlight. I click the light on and see I'm laying on an uneven, rocky floor that's covered in a slimy green moss. "Hello?" I say. I go to stand and feel a sharp pain in my leg, making me sit right back down. I shine my light on my leg, seeing what looks like a large animal bite, bleeding profusely. "Shit." I say. I stand roughly, unable to use the wall for support due to its slickness. I shine my light around and discover I'm in some kind of cave. I start walking, slowed by my injury. After a few minutes, I sit down to rest. Catching my breath, I reach into my bag and grab some bandages from the tiny first aid kit I carry. I splash some alcohol on the wound and grunt in pain. "Ah, fuck...That felt great." I say sarcastically. I wrap my leg in the bandages and zip up my bag, continuing down the cave. I hear a low growl. I aim my Galil behind me, adrenaline kicking in. I walk towards the sound, switching off my light and staying low to the ground. My eyes take a while to adjust to the nearly complete darkness. I see a huge shadow mere feet away from me. It lightly pounces me, knocking me to the floor. "Woah." I feel thick fur rubbing up against me as the creature looms above me. Its leg is blocking me from reaching my holster, and my Galil is under me. My only option is the small, four-inch karambit knife I keep in my boot. I hesitate, noticing the outline of the figure looks somewhat like a very large female human, but covered in fur and with a wolf-like head. I grab my light. The creature growls a little, not expecting the movement. I turn the flashlight on, but it's facing away from the creature. The creature grabs my wrist gently but with strength, and I set the flashlight down. Its hands are huge and end in claws. It releases my wrist and stands, helping me up off the ground. It takes my hand and leads me further into the cave. It seems to notice I walk a lot slower than it, with my injury. It turns back around to face me. She lays me down, unwrapping the bandage around my leg with clear intelligence. The creature spits in my wound. "What the..." I say to myself. Suddenly I feel a strange, warming sensation that spreads through my whole body. I watch as the wound closes, not even leaving a scar. "Woah." I say. She again helps me up, and I follow behind her as she leads me through the cave. We travel for what feels like hours. "I hope Nolan and Fenix are ok." I think, growing slightly concerned. After another long while of traveling, I become extremely tired. I lay down on the mossy floor, setting my bag down as a pillow. The beast immediately lays down beside me, wrapping her arms around me and pulling me closer to her. I sit there very confused and slightly scared for a moment. But eventually, I just drift off to sleep. I awaken sometime later, the huge creature still snoozing with her big arms still around me and holding me close to her. The creatures hold is warm and inviting, with a trusting looseness. I take a risk and turn to face the creature. It doesn't stir. Her head is like that of a wolf, and her body is full figured, powerful, and certainly female. It has thick black fur covering it, shaggy and soft. She opens her eyes, bright gold and intense but not evil. She growls a little and nuzzles my neck with her snout. "Morning." I say. She hugs me close to her and then releases me. I begin to wonder if this is all a strange dream. She follows me down the cave, and I feel wind. I take a deep breath and start jogging towards the cool air. Eventually, I wind up in a big grain field. I enjoy the breeze and my new friend seems to like it as well. I peer down at where the bite was on my leg. "Was it you?" I say. She gives me a guilty look and sits with a small growl. I suddenly fall to the ground, somewhat roughly. As I attempt to stand, I find myself unable to move. "The hell?" I think, struggling hard. My eyelids shut and I can't force them open again. I'm not tired or worn out, I'm just paralyzed for no reason. I come to, and I hear rushing wind in my ears and feel my feet crashing against the dirt with great pace. I open my eyes to see I'm running incredibly fast through the field, shaking the ground as I bound across it. "What?! How am I..." A thought crosses my mind and I wince, hoping it isn't true. I hesitantly look down at my hands.

Fenix's POV

We search for a few hours looking for Sig. "Shit." I say, spotting a broad cave opening with large clawed footprints leading inside. "Nolan, I think I know where he went." I say. We move through the cave for a good two hours, then stop for a break. "We'll find him, we're not leaving anyone behind." Nolan says, tossing me a water bottle and continuing the trek through the cave. "Agreed, so slow down please." Grace says from a short ways behind us. I check my watch. The bright interface hurts my eyes to look at, as they're adjusted to the near pitch darkness of the cave. It's 10:00 AM.

"Let's go."
