7. Awake

Taehyung's POV (FINALLY)

I made my way with Jungkook to Krystal's house. The images presented on the news the previous day wouldn't escape my mind. They were all I could think about. Honestly, I loved her parents. They were one of the kindest people I had ever met and they treated me like their own son. If I ever needed them, they were always there for me. If I ever wanted to hang out with Krystal, they would never deny. I felt intense love from them for me and I cherished it because they were one of a kind. I loved them so much that I considered them my second parents. Being told that they're no longer here just made me feel empty, like I had lost something important. 

We arrived at Krystal's house and I knocked on the door. A short while later, Jimin hyung opened it. 

"Annyeong," he greeted. Jungkook and I smiled.

"Annyeong," we replied before entering the house. Jimin hyung led us upstairs, which is where I assumed Krys was. We soon arrived outside her door but hyung stopped us before we entered. 

"Shh. She's asleep," he whispered. We both nodded in response and quietly followed hyung inside the room. Jimin sat on the desk chair that was placed behind the bed; he was probably sitting there before we came. Jungkook and I sat on the small couch. 

"How is she?" Jungkook asked.

"She's alright now," Jimin hyung replied. 

"Hyung," I called out to him. He averted his gaze from Jungkook to me. 

"Hm? What is it, Tae?" he asked. 

"You never told us the full story. You didn't explain what happened. All you told us was that her parents died but you didn't tell us what happened to Krys," I replied. Jungkook seemed to agree with me.

"Yeah, hyung and you didn't tell us what happened between noona and Yoongi hyung," he added. Jimin hyung sighed. 

"It really is a very long story," he began. I was about to speak but he cut me off before I could. "I know you have time, Tae." He rolled his eyes as he spoke. "Anyways, this is what happened. Everything. Every little detail that I can remember, that I was there to witness." Jungkook and I paid close attention to his words and we listened intently. 

"Her parents were rushed to hospital and she went there with Yoongi hyung. She texted me telling me that she was at the City Hospital but at the time, I didn't know what had happened. I went and when I got there, Jin hyung was there too," he explained. 

"Doesn't noona only call you both when the situation is dead serious?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah," I added. Jimin hyung nodded. 

"That's true. That's the signal I got when I saw Jin hyung. Afterwards, we went in and we managed to find Krys because she told me she was outside the operation theatre. I still didn't know what was happening though. I went, Hoseok and Namjoon hyung were there too, and she hugged us and when Jin hyung asked why they were at the hospital, Yoongi hyung asked him to watch the news. When we did, we saw the accident and found out that it was Krystal's parents in the room. After a while, the doctors announced that they wouldn't be able to make it and we heard beeps from inside the room. You know, the long ones that go off when someone dies," he spoke. Jungkook and I nodded in unison, understanding what he was talking about. "After that, Krys hugged her brother but he pushed her off him on the wall. He said he did that because it was her fault, he blamed it all on her." 

"He what?" Jungkook asked. 

"Blamed it on her," I answered. Jungkook looked at me with quite a shocked expression.
