24. Stigma

Jin's POV

Jungkook slammed his hand onto my mouth to shut me up.

"Shhhhh!" 

"What?!" I exclaimed again, this time whispering. "She's getting bullied?!"

"Yeah. It's bad."

"How long for?"

"Ever since she started that school. There are three girls who are always bullying her. They know about the accident and they know that Yoongi hyung blames her for it. They use that to tease her and upset her."

"No way..."

"Yeah... I mean, I wish I could do something about it but she told me not to do anything or tell anyone. I feel really bad breaking my promise to her but it's the least I can do for her safety."

"It's fine Jungkook. It's not bad if you break a promise to keep someone safe. Isn't it better to tell someone instead of her getting hurt even more?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"It's absolutely fine, okay? Don't feel bad. Don't feel guilty. You did the right thing. Plus, what she doesn't know won't hurt her and if she ever comes to find out that you told me, tell her it was for her safety."

"I know that hyung but... Now that I think about it... Won't she lose trust in me?" 

"No. She can't lose trust in you. Instead of keeping her secret safe, you're trying to keep her safe. Think of it like that. Also, Krystal isn't going to lose trust in a friend like you, Jungkook. You've been with her whenever she needs you and you've done so much for her. Breaking one promise isn't going to make her lose trust in you. Don't worry."

"Thanks, hyung."

"No problem."

"Um... Hyung?"

"Yeah?"

"One more thing."

"What is it?"

"Have you seen a bandage on noona's wrist?"

"Huh?!"

"Shhhhhhh hyung."

"Sorry."

"Have you?"

"No. Why?"

"Well, Jimin hyung, Tae hyung and I have all seen it. We asked her about it and he said she accidentally smashed glass on her arm."

"When?"

"About a week ago. But the thing is, hyung, Tae hyung said he saw more blood than he should be seeing if someone hurt themselves with glass. We thought maybe it was something else."

"Oh. Okay. I'll ask Krystal about it later and see what she says about it."

"Okay hyung. Thanks."

"Stop saying thanks you little bunny," I said to him as I ruffled his hair. He returned the cutest bunny smile before I put my arm over his shoulder and we both walked back into the house.

Krystal's POV

After a good few minutes, Jin oppa and Jungkook walked back into the house with smiles on their faces.

"Ah, he's just so cute!" Jin oppa squealed, ruffling Jungkook's hair. All Jungkook did was smile while everyone laughed. Well, everyone except Jimin oppa. Jimin oppa just chuckled slightly and was quiet after a few minutes. 

"So, what did you guys talk about?" Taehyung asked. 

"Hyung," Jungkook said. "Why do you think I called him outside if I was going to tell you? If I was going to tell you, I might as well have done it in here."
