19. Begin

Jimin's POV 

(Go back to when they left for the bathroom)

"Ne. Arasso. See you in the canteen," Jungkook waved at us before walking away to the canteen; Taehyung and I headed to the bathroom. 

After we did our business, we proceeded to wash our hands at the sink. 

"Hyung," Taehyung called out. 

"Ne?" I responded.

"Can I ask you something?" he asked.

"You already did," I replied, smirking.

"No, seriously hyung. It's about Krystal," he said. 

"Okay," I responded, becoming serious. "Go ahead."

"Have you, by any chance, see some sort of bandage on her left wrist?" 

flashback 

I then frowned as I noticed something on her left arm. A bandage. Why's she wearing a bandage?

"I j-just... I just dropped a glass and it k-kinda shattered all over my arm..." she spoke, stuttering slightly as she did so.

There's no way that the shattering of a glass would make her so quiet. It's definitely something else.

"Ne..." I spoke slowly, recalling the memories of the previous week.

"Did you ask her about it?" questioned Taehyung.

"I did. She said it was because she dropped a glass on her hand," I answered. "But the way she responded and the amount of time she took to respond made me think that maybe that's not the case."

"Huh? What do you mean?" 

"She hesitated at first and slowly responded that it was a glass. Plus, she was stuttering when she spoke."

"Oh. Okay."

"Why did you ask about that? Did you see it too?"

"Yeah, I did. A few days ago actually."

"What did she say?"

"What happened?" I spoke as I looked down at her hands. My eyes came into contact with the bandage wrapped around her wrist and they widened. "Krystal, why is there a bandage on your wrist?"

"Um, I dropped a glass and it kinda shattered all over my wrist," she answered. 

"When?" I inquired.

"Earlier today," she said.

"But why is there so much blood?" I asked, inspecting her arm closely. She immediately pulled her arm away from my grip. 

"I don't know," she said, placing her arm on her lap.

"Does it still hurt?" I enquired. 

"A little, but it's fine if it's untouched," she answered.

"She told me the same thing. She said it was a glass. I asked her why there was so much blood but she said she didn't know."

"See? It's definitely not a glass because honestly, how could one not know why there's so much blood?"

"That's true. But hyung?"
