Iris helped me pack my stuff to put in the apartment but we both agreed to leave some things in the dorm.

"Iris, we're going to my friend's party tonight." I said.

"Yes! Finally! A party that's not hosted by a high school student!"

Iris was the only one in our batch that didn't go to college, there was no community college in Ridgefort- the closest one would be in Los Angeles. Being in Iris' shoes, I would be really ecstatic. She loved going to parties and socializing, which is everything that I'm not.

I laughed at that statement. "Poppy, I'll bring this to the apartment. " Iris said picking up a box full of my clothes.

"I'll help you bring it down." I said as I picked up the second box full of clothes.

"If I knew that your life would be this interesting then I would've gone here months ago!" She said as we got in the elevator.

Iris always had a thing for Drama and Romance. I guess you could classify her as a Classic chic who loves Romantic Chick flicks and parties. With being all alone in Ridgefort with no friends, no parties to go to and going straight to work in her family business it's very understandable that Iris would think my life would be this interesting- plus, it was her life that was interesting and like a chick flick when she cheated on Adam.

When we reached the lobby and went for the front door, "Poppy, you're moving out?" Jack said surprised.

"Oh.. ugh, Jack-"

"She's not moving out, lover boy. These are the things that she borrowed from me." Iris lied smoothly.

I let out a breath, "We should get going, Poppy." Iris said.

I nod at her and went out of the building trailing behind Iris and put the boxes in the trunk of her car. She went in the driver's side and started the car, I closed the trunk and felt like somebody was watching me- I turned to look to my right and saw that Jack was looking at me and I can tell you that he's not happy.

I went in the passenger seat and closed the door, I looked back at Jack who was still standing on the front door still watching the car as Iris drove off. "That's weird." Iris said.

I could not agree more. Iris drove to the apartment, It's not far from the University which is good. She parked in the parking lot across the street and we carried the boxes in the said apartment which was in the 6th floor of the building across the parking lot. When we got in, I couldn't help but admire the space of the apartment.

"What do you think?" Iris asked.

"It's very big and beautiful." I said looking around.

She laughed hysterically and I rolled my eyes, "I'm not talking about a guy's Pee-pee."

She fell down on the floor laughing, "Who says Pee-pee anymore at your age, Poppy?"

"Obviously, Me." I said. "It's awkward to say it, Iris."

She was still laughing hysterically, she wiped her happy tears. I sighed and went to the kitchen and opened the pantry, I took the original Lays and opened it. "I missed eating junk food." I said.

"You haven't eaten junk food? Makes perfect sense."

"Huh?" I asked with my mouth full of Lays.

"Your body is sexy AF." She said opening the fridge and getting a can of Cola and drinking it.

"You're lying." I said. "You're just saying that to make me feel good."

"I'm not. Have you seen your abs and legs? You've come a long way since high school, Poppy. Noah will regret that he left you for that hoe." Iris said while opening a small jar of chocolate pudding.
