My Neighbor's Best Friend

Chapter 2

Friday
Ruby POV

Finally it's 7th period. One more class to go and I get to go to the party. Hell Yes!! Damn it, I just realized that I have Caleb for next period.Fuck... He literally sits right next to me in science.
The teacher dismisses us to our next period well the bell does. I ran out of class to look for Chloe so she can walk me to my next period.

"Good luck is all I'm saying."She said.

"You tell me that every single day."I said.

"I know, there's a reason why I'm telling you this."

She does have a point, Caleb always like to mess with me. Chloe pushes me to my classroom and leaves me. Yup she is an amazing best friend.

I got my journal and sat at my table. My friend Emma sat next to me on my left side while Caleb sits on my right side. Caleb is always messing with poor Emma, this is why I say he is annoying.

"I didn't even say anything."Emma said yelling.

"Well then shut up and stop looking at me."He said shouting.

"Will both of you be quiet, I'm trying to do my work."I said annoyed.

"He started it."Emma said pointing her finger at Caleb.

"Caleb leave her alone and Emma ignore him."I said.

"Well tell her to stop looking at me."Caleb said.

"Emma don't look at him and Caleb leave her alone. I swear y'all both act like little kids."I said annoyed.

They finally stopped messing with each other and went back to their work. This is basically what happens in 8th period EVERY... SINGLE....DAY.... When I was doing my work, Caleb kept staring at me and we would make eye contact with each other but he looked away. Okay that's weird. I just ignored him and went back to my work for the third time.

"Hey, what's the answer for number 11."He said. 

"It's B."I said.

I can be nice to him sometimes. We finished our assignments early so we got to use our phones. I turned my phone on and saw that I had a message. I opened the message and saw it was from Ben. Oh No. I bet he is gonna try to make me jealous.

Ben- hey so I heard that your gonna be at the party. Don't stare at me too much cuz I don't want you to make my date jealous.

I rolled my eyes and didn't respond.

"What's wrong Ruby."Caleb said sounding worried.

"Nothing."I said. 

"You sure."He said. 

"Yeah I'm fine."I said calmly.

I swear he can be annoying but in the inside he has a heart.

30 minutes later

We finally left hell,I got into Chloe's car and we went straight to my house.

Sorry for the short chapter but hope you guys enjoy...trying to figure out how many times I should update a week and what day as well
