My Neighbor's Best Friend

Chapter 12

Wednesday
Ruby POV

After school we went to the store to look for bulletin boards and other stuff. Chloe and I left the guys standing there looking at paint while we went to go get snacks. We grabbed takis, gummy bears, cheetos,and sweet ropes.

"What the hell are you guys doing."Logan said.
Oh shit they found us.
"What does it look like we are doing. We are taking food just in case if we get hungry."I said.
"Oh okay."The guys said.

I paid for all the stuff and we all went to my house. We started to google ideas for the project and what exact era we were gonna do. We decided to do the 13 colonies era and how it all started. I wrote down the important dates, Chloe wrote the information,Logan colored the letters and decorated the board, and Caleb was in charge of pictures.

I was listening to music until my phone rang. I left the dining room and went to go answer.

"Hey Ruby, Do you and Chloe want to have dinner with us at Olive Garden."Matthew said.

"Sure. What time."I said.

"7 and Ethan and Cameron are also going."

"Well obviously, you just said "us"... okay."I said.

I went to walk back to the dining room to finish the rest of the project with them.

"Hey what time are y'all leaving."I asked the guys.

"Around 6 because we are gonna chill with some guys and girls."Caleb said.

"Okay."I said.

I texted Chloe to let her know what was happening.

Chloe👸🏻💙- Okay...does this mean we get to wear our dresses that we bought at deerbrook.

Me- Yeah I guess.

Chloe👸🏻💙- Yay!!!!

I got off my phone and started listening to music to soothe me so I won't get frustrated with the project.

A few hours later

The guys left and Chloe and I got ready for dinner. I put on the black dress that was short in the front and long in the back. Chloe out on the white dress with the gold belt.

We went outside and waited for Matthew,Ethan,and Cameron. We saw Caleb and Logan with these girls that looked like sluts. It pissed me off but I ignored them.

I saw Cameron pulled up and he had the shirt he bought at deerbrook. He gave me  hug and I got in the car. Chloe decided to stay and wait for Matthew and Ethan to pick her up. Luckily they were right behind us in the car. I saw they were wearing the shirts they bought as well from deerbrook.

They drove us to Olive Garden and we decide to walk around the area where Olive Garden was at since it was very packed. I went on my phone and went to Instagram. I saw a photo that made my heart drop. It was a picture of the guys kissing those slut girls. I was so mad that all I wanted to do was hit something. I told Cameron to take me home. I got out of Cameron car and went into the garage but before I went inside, I lit up a cigarette and started smoking. I got inside my house and went to my room. I started to smoke some more until I realized that my parents come back tomorrow. I started to clean the house,took a shower, and brushed my teeth. I went to go to bed.

"Fuck My Life."I said to myself.
