Chapter 5

Saturday
Ruby POV

Man I love the mall for three reasons.
1. The food
2. The clothes
3. The movie theatre

We went to forever 21 to pick out cute outfits and jeans while the guys bought shirts or just looked around. We then went to Dillard's to get dresses for us and dressy shirts for the guys. I found a black dress that was short in the front and long in the back. It showed a little bit of cleavage but it was perfect. Chloe found a white dress that had a gold belt. Matthew got a blue dressy shirt, Ethan got grey shirt,and Cameron got a black shirt. We paid for the items and went out of the store to go to Game Stop. When we were walking I stayed behind and I could have swarm I saw Caleb and Logan but maybe it was someone else.Oh Well.

We got a few games like GTA 5 and Mario Kart on Xbox and Wii U. We went to a few other stores and left the mall since it was getting late. The guys helped me with the stuff to put inside my house. Cameron went to take Chloe home while Matthew and Ethan went to their houses. I went back outside to listen to music until I saw a black car pull up. Oh Shit. It's Ben. Great I wonder what he wants. He gets out of his car and starts walking towards me.

"Hey baby."He says.

"I'm not your baby."I said stepping back.

"Damn someone feisty."

"Can you please leave me alone."I said getting angry.

"No because I love you."
"Haha that's so funny."I said starting to laugh.

"I'm serious."He said with a straight face.

"Whatever."I said walking to the entrance of my house.

He grabs my wrist and I pulled away. I did not want to deal with him right now.

"Please, just leave me alone. Your getting on my nerves."

"Good but I forgot to do this."

He raises his hand and punches me in the face. I went down on the ground holding my cheek. He grabbed my hand to pick me up and did the same thing over and over again for about 4 times until he finally lost his strength in hitting me. He went in his car and drove off. This is what he use to do to me when we went out well when I found out he was cheating on me but I gave him a second chance that's when the hitting started. I remember that during that time I started to cut myself because I kept blaming myself for the cheating and the hitting but it wasn't my fault.

I started to remember about the party where things got real and when I finally ended the relationship.

Flashback

I went to go to one of the rooms during the party to return a phone call to my sister. After hanging up on her, I turn around to see Ben coming inside the room. I looked into his eyes and saw they were red. He was high and I also could smell the alcohol.

"Hi beautiful, I want to give you something."

"Baby are you okay."I said worried.

He then grabs me by the wrist and pushes me down to the bed. I was trying to push him off but he had me pinned down.

"BEN NO DON'T DO THIS. STOP."I said screaming.

"No baby shhh...this is for your own good, I'm gonna mark my territory so all my friends know that you are my bitch."He said taking off his pants.

"NO."I said yelling.

Someone opens the door and punches Ben and gets him off of me. I turn to see that it was Chloe, she heard me screaming. We left as fast as we could out of the party.

Back To Reality

He kept bothering me ever since to tell me that we should get back together but there no way in hell that I would say yes. Why is life so difficult sometimes. I went inside to take a shower, heal the punching wounds,and cried myself to sleep.

Sunday

I stayed inside the house the entire day because I didn't want Logan to see me before he tells Caleb. I grabbed my guitar and started singing. I was just so bored, I didn't know what to do.
