Ruby POV
We all ran out of the building and got into our cars to go home. The teachers and students didn't care about anything as long as they got the hell out of there. I went home to double check on my suitcase and backpack. I got a text from Chloe,Caleb, and Logan that they are on there way over to my house. Logan went to pick them up and parked his car in his garage.
"When are we leaving."Logan said.
"In 20 minutes so I guess get your suitcase."I said.
20 minutes later
"Okay guys here are your tickets and we all have everything just in case of an emergency."My mom said handing us our tickets.
"Where's Daniel."I said.
"Your brother is already on his way to the airport."She said.
We all got into the rental van and my dad drove us to the airport.
"When are your parents getting to the airport."I said to Chloe.
"They're on their way."She said.
I looked outside my window thinking about Cali and how this week will be.Hope this will be a good week I thought to myself.We finally got to the airport and got our stuff. We return the car to the airport rental and went inside to check in our bags. I saw a tall man that turned around and that's when I saw him. I ran up to him and gave him a hug.
"Hi, baby sis."He said.
"Hey big bro."I said.
He's always been the best brother and we have always been so close. After giving me a hug, he went to go say hi to everyone else and also introduce himself to Caleb.
"You guys are gonna love California...trust me."He said.
"Yeah I heard."Caleb said.
"Guys lets go to check in our bags,go to security check, and board the plane."my mom said.
50 bullshit minutes later
We got on the plane and guess whose sitting right next to me....Caleb....YAY!!!(Sarcasm)
"Hey best friend."He says as he sits down next to me.
"Really."
"You know your lucky that I'm in a good mood since I'm not gonna mess with you.Tell me when we get to San Diego."Caleb said putting on his headphones.
30 minutes later
I'm still awake and I'm so tired but I can't sleep. All of a sudden, I felt something hit my shoulder. I turned my head a slight bit to see Caleb head. I'm guessing he fell asleep. I then started to feel my eyes heavy so I put my head on top of his. I went into deep sleep.
