Carina's P.O.V.

I shifted through my luggage, trying to find something for my date with Nolan. We were heading to a movie- I don't know which one though. Nolan had asked his buddies if they wanted to come with us to the movie, but they all "declined", claiming something else had come up.

I pushed past a teal dress, deciding it was too classy for the night.

"Abby!" I called, tilting my head back, "Can you help me find me something to wear?"

There was silence, and I was about to turn back to vacillate through my clothes again when I heard a muffled moan, "Yeahhhh."

I smirked at Abby's laziness, picturing her sprawled on the couch. She was worried about Harry, and with the knowledge of our departure arriving, her stress was doubled. We had to go back to the states and the guys had to go back onto tour, there was no way around it.

"What are you guys doing tonight?" Abby questioned, suddenly standing next to me. I hadn't even noticed her entering the room.

"Um, we're going to see a movie," I answered.

"Certain one in mind?" Abby intruded out of boredom.

"I don't know, he won't tell me."

"Surprise movie then, hmmmmm," Abby said, thinking about the different combinations.

After a moment, Abby continued. "You want to go comfortable, yet with a little bit of style."

I laughed, pulling out a neon yellow top and a navy Neff beanie.

"Perfect, girly!" Abby said, her eyes scanning the outfit lying on the bed. I started to undress, causing Abby to turn to leave the room.

"Have fun with your date!" She called, emphasizing the last word as if we were in the junior high.

I giggled under my breath, sliding the yellow top over my head. Looking in the mirror, I decided to curl my hair.

Ten minutes and a nasty burn on my chin later, I had my finished product. Popping my beanie over my head, I smiled in the mirror at myself. Everything was perfect, except that burn- "Carina!"

My thoughts were once again interrupted by Abby.

"What?" I screamed to her.

"Are you going to leave soon? You'll be late!" I grabbed my phone, checking the time.

Oh my gosh, I needed to be at the theater in ten minutes! Grabbing my purse, I ran out to met Abby, sitting on the couch eating Nutella and watching T.V.

Running out to my car, I noticed it wasn't were I last parked it. Pushing loose hair out of my eyes, I noticed Nolan parked over behind me. He stepped out of his car, walking over to open the other door. I strode over to him, "Can I get a ride?"

"Yeah," He said, intent on opening the jammed door.

Before Nolan's cheeks could get the chance to turn anymore of a deeper shade of red, I ran-walked over to the other side. Opening the other door, I pressed the unlock key just as the passenger door flew open, throwing Nolan back. He quickly regained his balance, gesturing for the passengers door. I smiled and made my way back to the passenger side.

I giggled at the thought of Abby being like, "Hell no," snapping her fingers and taking the drivers' seat.

Buckling up, I watched Nolan jog over to the drivers' side, wondering what was in store for the night.

Lowering into the seat, he let out a breath and looked at me before starting the car.

"You look nice," he stated, and it couldn't get any more awkward.

"Thanks, do you know where my car is?" I asked, quickly brushing the shitty attempt of a compliment off.

"No, not really," Nolan replied, turning on light music and taking a right.

"Hmm..." I said, having no idea what to say.

I looked out the window, praying for the drive to be quick.

Harry's P.O.V.

I stared her right into the eyes, "Are you fucking kidding me?"

She smiled that damn smirk I'be way to used to. After a few seconds of no change in emotion, I looked down, shaking my head. I was trying so hard not to create a bigger scene than the one unfolding in front of me.

"You fucking gold-digger," was all I could manage between bared teeth. "What'd you do now?"

Jennifer shrugged, "I'll be getting 500K for a ransom. It costs a lot to do the dirty work for you Styles."

My jaw dropped, "Who the hell did you get that kind of money from?"

Jennifer smiles, wrinkles forming around those mysterious gray eyes, "Someone's girlfriend."

I snapped my head up, anger boiling over. "You didn't."

Jennifer took a slow sip of her drink. savoring its flavor. I was sick to my stomach, pushing mine slightly away from myself.

"She's not going to pay it," I tested, fully knowing I was darting into uncharted territories.

Jennifer's black eyes darted straight into mine. God damn it, she's crazy.

"She will if she believes you're kidnapped."

"What if I just head back?"

"You won't. You've got management down your throat to keep you away from her, and I will drop your investigation in a snap if that cash doesn't come in because of you." Jennifer said so quickly it took a second to comprehend.

Focusing on box of packaged sugar that sat between me and this devil, I thought about my options.

I can't put Abby through that but I can't have Jennifer stop searching. Jennifer is a piece of shit half the time, but she's found results.

"Well?" Jennifer pushed, making me crush my thoughts into the ball and throwing them out.

"I expect you'll make the right decisions." Jennifer finished, before wiping her mouth with a napkin.

She stood up, winked and walked out of the coffee shop, her hips swaying back and forth every step.

Fuck.
