Carina's P.O.V.
Louis carried Abby upstairs after she blacked out. They guys were extremely worried, and I guess I should've been too, but I was more worried about Gavin and Harry. I looked over at Ryder, knowing that him and I were the most responsible here, other than Liam who was complete mess from everything, and Nolan who was trying so very hard to help out. Ryder walked over, his mouth open and ready to figure out what we should do next.
"We need to call Paul, the police, the fucking FBI, I don't care who but this has gotten out of hand." Ryder said when he was sure I was in earshot.
"Ryder," I started, not even looking at him, my eyes were fixated on the floor. "Harry obviously has a reason for this. I know you want to automatically jump to conclusions, but what about the band, you guys go back onto tour in a few days."
"You guys sound like an old married couple," Liam piped in from nowhere.
Ryder threw his hands up in the air, " I don't give a flying fuck about this band, as long you guys are safe!"
This grabbed Nolan and Liam's attention, Nolan asking, "You kidding me mate?"
Ryder looked over hurt look in his eyes, but there also was an unreadable emotion, something that looked like anger and jealousy. But he continued, "It's always 'Harry has a reason for that', or 'Harry knows what he's doing', but what if he doesn't? It's obvious something is keeping him from taking responsibility, and now Gavin is in this? I can't be the reason that I lose you again."
I opened my mouth to fire back at him, disagreeing with almost everything, but I found my lungs to be empty, and nothing was in my mind. He was the reason we lost touch. He shook his head, walking towards the door, but remembering what the situation was and headed upstairs instead.
"Great," I murmured sarcastically, furious with Ryder's behavior, and I sat down on the cream sofa.
As if on que, Niall was on my hip, slowly putting his arm around me. Liam's phone rang, and he left the room to answer it.
There was silence and tension winding in the room, as Nolan waited for me top gather what I had left of my mind. Sniffling, I looked up and Nolan. He held his head back, perhaps to see my whole face. Thank God I had no makeup on, I thought as I wiped my cheek from the water that had appeared from my eyes.
Nolan smiled that damn smile, using his thumb to wipe some tears, "You're so beautiful."
I smiled at his simple compliment, "Thanks Nol."
He closed his eyes and slowly leaned forward, and I panicked for a moment, remembering what Zayn had said.
"Hey guys," Liam said, walking into the room. He was looking down at his phone, locking it and holding it in his hand. When he saw what was happening, his eyes grew bigger than they should've. Nolan heard Liam's voice, opening his eyes and sighing in frustration.
"Um," Liam said uncomfortably, starting to back up and out of the room like he was interrupting something.
"No, Liam it's fine stay," I said, scooting away from Nolan a little bit, creating more space and awkwardness between us.
Liam hesitantly walking in and sat down on the chair that was the closest to him.
"Simon canceled the next show, and has scheduled your tickets on hold. Apparently some woman named Jennifer has sent threats to management with a ransom about Harry."
I started to open my mouth to remind him Liam was fine, but he cut me off. "She has proof this time, and it's double the original amount. Simon is furious that we haven't said anything and he wants Abby and you to stay in the country under our security."
