Lawrence

"Torrior, Your doing good down there. Angelo is recommending you to take my place when I take over as King. North America is a vast continent to over see. But with our history and how you have been doing in South America I am going to agree on his decision. I can't trust your brother anymore to be able to handle this territory and to not change any statues you have down there, I'm instating him to your position once you take position here in hopes they respect you enough to take in your bother." We where in his hotel office, as I went over every note and number he provide for me. Leaning over the documents he had brought with him of the statues of everything; running and moving down there. It was organized and straight to the point just like the man before me. No bullshit and no lies, a true gentleman as they come.

"Yes my Lord." Said the tall and reserved form of Nathaniel Torrior eldest son of Severus, as he bowed in respect straightening back to his full height. This man I knew I could trust taking my place effortlessly. We held ourselves almost the same way with how we examined our positions and handled our responsibilities. Him with his demanding personality easy to lead with my authority of fear with just a look. Each able to command respect with just our presence air of power.

"This position is a lot to take on. Are you up for it?" I asked standing up from the desk walking around to lean on the top in front of him, crossing my arms over my chest with a grin. I already knew he was ready by the proof of his work in his territory but wanted to see if he felt it himself.

"In every way. I'm ready." He said with a firm tone ringing with finality, as a smirk started to appear. I could hear and feel his confidence taking my posted, radiating through his body as I gazed at the man he has become.

"It's been a long time hasn't it." I asked as he sat down in a large leather chair in front of the desk.

"It's been years." He clarified regretfully as we both fell into thoughts of the many years that have passed. "Lawrence?" He questioned in a curious tone, leaned forward while resting his elbow on his knees, clasping them together in thought looking up to me. The business man now replaced with a friendly air of family.

"Yes?" Shifting at his vulnerable tone staring into his gold orbs.

"Do you ever wonder were Amelia could have gone?... If she was still alive today?... Would you recognize her if she stood right before you?" He wondered, startling me with the taboo name that we all avoided speaking.

I tighten my arms across my chest more, then let them fall to my sides gripping the desks edge with a long release of breath, looking down to the plush cream carpet. "Everyday I wonder those things." Lifting one of my hands to rub my face, pulling my fingers through my to long hair, then back to the desk. "Her face is a distant memory now, I would like to say I could distinguish her from a crowd but would be lying... All I remember were her eyes, but her features are lost to me from being a child. I have, to this day scouted the entire inch of this planet for Amelia. For anything that may give way to her disappearance and hopefully her whereabouts." I breathed feeling the pain flow through my dark heart, thoughts from my young childhood days floating to the surface, taking a peck at the visions I could remember of her.

Her name was painful to say and thoughts of her were even more overwhelming to control my emotions properly. Only Nathaniel and I could ever truly grieve for our loose. The delicate girl that surprisingly we loathed at one time, changing our view of the harsh world upon her disappearance. Making the once boys into men at a young age, facing the true depth of this so called planet we call home.

"The Godfather had everything planned for his little granddaughter. The only heir born to the Mafia thrown. It's sad to imagine such a little girl held so much power." He pondered shaking his long brown hair with a smirk almost close to mine.
