Ryo wished that it would rain again, then maybe his chores would slow down, and he could figure out a way to rescue Genesis. That's all he's thought about. Finish farming, and then he can write out a plan. Draw the water from the well, and then he can track the Abbott hospital. Every time though, Ira found something new to rope Ryo into. The only time he could figure out a plan was when he was lying in bed, and he didn't want the light from his communicator to wake Ira.
Viowood didn't have much technology. Everything that was tossed out and sent to the dumps was their only source. It wasn't that easy either. Most gadgets had to be fixed. A cracked screen on a communicator. Snapped wires in a holo projector. Even if they fixed it, it would still break within a couple weeks.
That never stopped Ryo though. He had a communicator that he kept under his pillow. He used it to track Genesis down in the first place, and so help him he would do it again. It wasn't so much getting into the city that would be a problem; Unless, of course they sealed up the sewer entrance he had snuck through before. It was the fact that the hospitals security would most likely now be 5x what it originally was.
He would have to find a new entrance, an new exit. A whole new plan. Ryo sighed. All day he had been hauling freshly picked food to storage. It was exhausting under the vicious heat, but he carried on in hopes of finishing early. If he could spend at least an hour on his communicator without Ira knowing what he was planning, then it would be less than a month before he could see genesis again.
