I'm so sorry this is later than usual guys. I've been like out of the loop lol. I've been really really tired lately and my sleeping schedule is whacked up and I've basically slept the last two weeks but actually never rested, if that makes any sense. Yes? No? Okay lol, but I think I'm good now, maybe, and I'm working on updates feverishly. Even though it was only for a short while I've missed my little babies. Anyway on it the chapter. It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted but I'm pretty happy with it.

Enjoy!

Chapter dedications!!

Vic's POV

I smiled as Kellin pulled a hoodie of mine over his head. He just got out of the shower and didn't feel like walking back to his house to get clothes, so like usual he was borrowing mine. Ever since last week and our drunken night together Kellin and I hadn't really been apart. I was afraid I was falling, falling fast. I couldn't help it. I had no clue what was drawing me to him but I didn't really want to complain.

I knew I should care because once summer was over he would be gone. I was trying to keep from getting attached but the more Kellin hung around the more fond of him I became. He was absolutely stunning, intelligent as they come, and his personality was gold. When I learned that Mr. Bostwick had a son I was expecting the worse. Some stuck up, spoiled, brat, but Kellin was the complete opposite.

"Vic... Vic are you listening?" He said pulling me out of my thoughts. He was standing in front of me laughing a little because I was spaced out.
"Yea?"
"What did I say then?" He asked sassily.
"Probably something about food?" I said unsurely and he huffed.
"You got lucky this time." He pointed a finger. "Now I was saying that I want some food and you don't have anything I want, so do you wanna go grab a bite?" His words made my heart beat just a beat faster.
"You asking me on a date Quinn?" I said with a smirk and he blushed.
"No...I....just wanted some food so come on." He said and I laughed and awe'd internally at his blush. I loved making him flustered.

I quickly changed clothes and led him outside and to the front garage where my truck was parked. He climbed in the seat and I pulled out. I looked briefly beside me and saw Kellin staring out the window a smile on his face. The farther we got from his house the happier he seemed. I've noticed that he never wanted to be in his house. He didn't like all the room and the emptiness I guess. He preferred to be huddled up in the tiny guest house.

"Hey Kells?" I said as we were stopped in the city traffic.
"Hmm?" He hummed.
"Why don't you ever leave your house?" It was a question I had been wondering because he loved being away but he never left, it's not like the couldn't though. He was 19, with a drivers license and a car, and could go as he pleased as far as I knew.
"I don't like roaming without someone with me." He chuckled. "I prefer to be home, well i prefer the guest house."
"Why?" I pressed and laid my hand on his thigh to draw smooth circles like usual.
"My house is my home don't get me wrong, but it's only my home in the dictionary definition of the word. A house should be filled with warmth and coziness not vacant walls and cold useless rooms. My house is merely a place holder, something my parents can show off. Even when I was younger I liked the guest house better. It was small and wasn't full of unnecessary things."

"It must be fun sometimes though, right? Like especially when you were a little kid and had friends over." I chucked at the thought of a little Kellin.
"Well sometimes but I don't really like all the attention."
"I'm learning new things about you everyday." I said and he laughed.
"Well I'm practically living with you at this point." He said then his face fell. "I'm not bothering you am I? Like I can not hang around as much." He fiddled with his thumbs and looked down at his lap. "I'm serous. If I'm bothering you please tell me." He said in a quiet voice.
"Kellin I love you being around me all the time." I said truthfully. "And you're definitely not bothering me." He gave me a big smile and then turned back to look out the window.

Kellin's POV

I was getting a little annoyed at our waiter. She was doing her job, what ever the heck that was, but I really want to know where in her job description it says that she has to flirt with any of her customers. Also isn't it a thing that you aren't supposed to touch someone? Like you work in a restaurant. She has been back to our table five times in the last ten minutes and every time she comes back she places a hand on Vic's shoulder or brushes against his hand. Every. Single. Time.

I shouldn't be upset about it because it's not like Vic and I are a thing but we did agree to have some summer exclusivity. He also said I would be the only one he was with, I didn't realize I'd need to beat waitresses off of him with a stick. Maybe he needs a sign around his neck or a shirt that says 'I'm taken for the summer'.

I sigh and look back down to my food. I guess I just need to chill. He's not technically mine and we're only doing this to waste time. It's only been like a week. I hardly know him.

"How are you guys doing over here?" The blonde girl said coming back over to our table. "Need anything else?" She said winking at Vic.
"Yea, to eat in peace." I said out loud before thinking.
"Well no need to be rude." She scoffed at me and pouted.
"You're the one who won't leave us alone for five minutes!"
"I'm just doing my job." She countered but also laid a hand on Vic's shoulder.
"This place is full and you haven't walked to any other table besides this one. If you're trying to get in his pants just slip him your number already and leave, I want to finish my sandwich in peace." I said grumpily and she just scoffed at me before pulling a pen out of her tied up hair. She grabbed the napkin under my plate and scribbled her number down, throwing me a glare and Vic a sultry smile, before walking away swinging her hips more than necessary.
"Don't expect a tip!" I yelled at her retreating figure and turned back to my food.

It was silent a few moments before Vic broke into laughter.
"What's funny?" I said and crossed my arms.
"Jealous much?" He said and I shook my head.
"Not at all. I just wanted to finish eating my sandwich. It's really tasty." Insaid picking it up and biting a piece off.
"Well I've got something even tastier." He said picking up his own sandwich and taking a bite before winking at me, causing me to blush and stray away from eye contact.

We both finished eating, under the watchful glare of our previous waitress, and pretty soon Vic was getting up to pay for the food. I stopped him and insisted that I would pay but he wouldn't hear of it. He started walking towards the counter but turned back to grab the napkin with the girls number on it. He walked back up to the cash register where the girl twisted a piece of hair around her finger and smiled widely at him. Vic leaned against the counter and handed her the money for the food. She reached him the receipt and once he took it he handed her the napkin and said something I couldn't hear. Whatever he said caused her face to turn red and her smile to turn into a scowl. Vic just smiled and made his way back over to me. He slipped an arm around my waist and we walked to his truck.
