Im currently leaving the hole I hide in and going out to see a movie with my friend and her sister and well her sisters boyfriend is with us and I'm only really comfortable around my friend and I feel really awkward.

Kellin's POV

Do you ever just want to freeze time? Just stop in a moment, record it, and let it play over and over again. That's what I wanted to do right now. I wanted to relive this moment again and again.

I was laying in Vic's arms and he was stroking his fingers through my hair and singing silly songs in my ear to make me giggle. I was facing towards him and I watched the goofy expressions he made.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make meeeee happy when sky's are grey. You'll never know dear how much I love. So please don't take my sunshine away." He sang and finished the song by kissing me softly on the lips. (A/N: my dad used to sing this to me when I was little and now every time I hear it I cry because it reminds me of like the good times and when things weren't so crazy.)

"You are my Sunshine Kellin." He told me softly.
"How did I get so lucky?" I asked and cupped his face in my hands.
"I think I'm the one that should be asking you that." I just shook my head at him and leaned closer so I could kiss his plump little lips.

"Ya know what?" I hummed in response. "Get up and get dressed. I'm gonna take you on a date." He told me with excitement in his eyes.
"Vic yo-"
"Don't even fight me. Come on! I wanna spend the day with you. Please?" I giggled at his attempt at a puppy dog face and nodded my head.
"Fine, but I'll have to borrow your clothes because I don't have any and I really don't wanna go get any."
"Take whatever you need Sweets." He kissed my cheek again and jumped up to go get ready himself.

I laid on the bed a few more moments before dragging myself up and over to Vic's closet. I rummaged through the clothes until I found a soft hoodie. I slipped it over my head and then just slipped my own jeans back on. I walked out of Vic's room and over to the couch. I sat down while curling in on myself. The hoodie smelt of Vic and it was the most comforting thing in the world. I could go to sleep at any moment.

"Why now don't fall asleep on me." Vic chuckled as he came into the living room.
"I'm so warm though." I whined. I looked up and he just smiled at me.  He leaned down and softly placed a kiss on my forehead before putting one arm under my knee and the other around my back. I squeaked as he lifted me up.
"You better not drop me." I warned.
"Never. "

He carried me out to his beaten up truck, careful not to be noticed by my parents, if they were even up. He sat me in the passenger seat and quickly went around getting in himself. He pulled out (we all know that's a lie😉) and headed towards the city. I drummed my fingers against the dash and he sang along quietly to the radio playing. He looked over at me and winked, causing me to blush and shake my head.

We parked somewhere we wouldn't get towed and Vic grabbed my hand pulling me down the sidewalk. The streets were crowded and I made a point to stick as close to Vic as possible. We wondered into random shops, almost getting kicked out a couple times, until Vic decided we should stop for ice cream.

"Sorry this isn't like a typical date. It was late minute and I just wanted to spend some time with you outside of the house." Vic said sheepishly as we stood in line. I reached up and pecked his cheek.
"It's perfect." I held his hand loosely and played with his fingers as we got closer to the front of the line Vic ordered and paid before I even had the chance to protest.

"Vic! You should've let me pay this time." I argued as we sat down.
"Nope. I like paying for you."
"But I would like to pay for you sometime too." I grumbled.
"Don't worry you can pay me later." He winked and I felt myself blushing again.
"Shut up." He only laughed and continued to eat his mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I look over in amusement and realized that Vic had ice cream on the corner of his mouth. He looked at me confused. I just giggled before reaching across the table with a napkin and wiping the side of his mouth for him.  He blushed lightly.
"Thanks." I just smiled at him.
"No problem stud." He rolled his eyes at me.

As we both threw away are trash I was stopped by a hand on my shoulder.
"Kellin?" The middle aged woman said and I internally sighed. It was one of my Mom's stuck up friends. Her name was Monica? Maybe Mary? Mandy? I honestly had no clue, but I didn't know he smile on her face was extremely fake.
"Hello." I forced a smile of myself.

"It's been a long time dear." She glanced over me and then looked to my left at Vic. "Who's this?" She said quizzically.
"Just a friend."
"Well friends don't usually stare that intently at each other. Don't think I noticed you both over there." She said playfully.
"I have no clue what you're talking about." I smiled politely. "But I've really got to get going.it was nice seeing you."
"Oh you too Kellin dear. I'm sure I'll see you around at your mothers sometime. Have a good day with your umm friend."
"You too!" I said and waved at her as I quickly pulled Vic from the shop.
