Getting Better

1 Day After

Zianna and Blinky took care of the school hate potion and Vendel checked on me when I came back to Trollmarket to see if I was ok.

I was slowly getting better, I could stand, but I couldn't walk as great. So, my mom got me crutches, so I can walk better. Toby been helping me get better and Vendel is always checking on me. To see if I'm ok, I'm not allowed training right now, so I just watch Claire and them.

Not being in pain all the time is great, but the last time when my dad used the poison spell on me. I wasn't in pain that much after, but this time, when the poison was gone. I felt like every bone broke in my body.

After they were done training, I couldn't get up, Aaarrrgghh turns around helps me up "Jim, here is your crutches" Toby said handing me my crutches, I take the crutches and then started going. When I got to the stairs to leave the Forge, I tried going up the stairs, but failed and fell down the stairs "Jim!" Claire said to me as Aaarrrgghh picks me up and brings me up the stairs "There" Aaarrrgghh said putting me on the ground as Claire gives me my crutches "Thanks guys" I said as I kept going.

When I was leaving, Blinky wanted Aaarrrgghh to come with me home and Draal was going to stay in Trollmarket for the night. When I got home, I went to the couch and I started to fall asleep and just walked around the house, I felt a blanket put on me while I was sleeping, maybe it was my mom or Aaarrrgghh. But I guest it was my mom and then someone picked me up and brought me upstairs "Good night Jim" I heard my mom said as Aaarrrgghh put me down on my bed and then left.

I woke up and it was 1:00 am, I got up and went downstairs. I had some trouble getting downstairs with my crutches, I saw Aaarrrgghh in the living room sleeping and then I heard something. I didn't know where it came from, I went into the kitchen and saw something and then it turned and looked at me. It was my dad, can't he just leave me alone for a few days "Jim, how are you?" He asked as I give him a look "What's with the look" He said as I start backing away "Jim" He said as I stop "What's with the crutches?" He asked and then started laughing "What?" I said "The poison" He said laughing his head off "The poison was in you for a long time and it's going to take you a few weeks for you to get better" He said "So you can't fight anyone" He said laughing "You're weak right now!" He said laughing even more and then I heard Aaarrrgghh waking up "I can take the chance right now! If I wanted to" He said as Aaarrrgghh comes up behind me "But I won't, I'll be going now" He said as he teleported.

After that, Aaarrrgghh helped me get upstairs "Thanks Aaarrrgghh" I said. I went back to bed, in the morning. I got up and saw Aaarrrgghh in my room, he helped me down the stairs and then I went into the kitchen. My mom was cooking breakfast "Jim, you're up" My mom said "Toby and Claire are coming here" My mom said "Ok" I said as I go back into the living room "Jim, Vendel wants to see you later today" My mom said as there was a knock on the door. I got up from the couch, but Aaarrrgghh got the door "Hey Wingman!" Toby said hugging Aaarrrgghh's arm "Hey Jim" Claire said sitting beside me "Hey Claire" I said.

After we talked and ate breakfast, we went to Trollmarket, soon as I got there. Vendel came up to me and brought me to the Heartstone.

"Jim, how are you feeling" Vendel asked "Good" I answered "Any pain?" Vendel said "No pain" I said as he grabs something off the table "Well, that's good" Vendel said "I got one question" I said as Vendel puts the thing he got from the table "And what is that" Vendel said "Last time I got poisoned, I was fine after, but this time. I feel like my legs are broken" I said as Vendel stops "The longer the poison is in your body, the more pain comes after. So it would take you four weeks or even more" Vendel said "Oh" I said "But your getting better" Vendel said "Your friends are training right now" Vendel said "I'll pass" I said walking out of the Heartstone.

I tripped on my leg and fell down the stairs, my crutches flew across to the other side "Great" I said trying to get up, but then falling back down. I see something or someone walk up to me.

I look up and see a troll "Um, can you please get me my crutches" I asked as the troll kept looking at me "They're just right over there" I said as I pointed at them. The troll didn't do anything, besides staring at me and then he picked me up "Um, can you please put me down" I said as he throws me at my crutches and Toby and them got here when he threw me "Jim!" Claire said as she run to me "Why would you do that!" Draal said as Aaarrrgghh helps me up "What is going on here!" Vendel said "This troll threw Jim!" Draal yelled as I get back on my crutches "Draal, I'm fine" I said "I'm not going to let this random troll get away with this!" Draal said "I never saw this troll here before" Vendel said "And if he threw Master Jim, he's not good to have around" Blinky said "It was probably Tom" Zianna said as Draal grabs the troll and brings him to the cages "If Tom is sending trolls or Changelings to attack Jim, he isn't safe, Aaarrrgghh you will stay with Jim for awhile" Vendel said.
